Overall good. It was a relief that the missunderstandings didn't drag too much. Both characters frustrated me at times but the FL was really stubborn considering that she didn't have any real skills to pull of her revenge.
I liked the FL's determination to not give up, but I genuinely enjoyed the character of ML. Ofc there was a bit of manhandling initially😬 but I found it adorable how the ML just gave in, he wanted to make her feel secure forgetting his old grudges. He was so in love with the FL. 😽 Wow..I didn't expect Fang Fei and Zhihai to have actual feelings for each other. I feel a bit disappointed that the FL didn't get to kill Qin.
this is a well executed drama.. the story actually makes sense, unlike other dramas. The cast are great in their individual roles. the Main FL is very beautiful, and the main ML is good with acting. what a good show. thanks!

Have you seen Maid's Revenge? That was quite good, although a bit of a toxic relationship though. Bride's Revenge is another one with most of the same cast 😅 They're both set in the early 1900s era.
This drama reminds me of "Maid's Revenge". The male lead seems to be torturous and cold hearted but actually he had been protecting the female lead all throughout the story.
What's with the trend of turning decent dramas into ruddy musicals? so annoying, I want to see dialogue not nonsensical lyrics, I fast forward thru' many scenes now as they're so drawn out and boring
