Well this is definitely an intresting mod to start off the year, i'm... very conflicted about this one, now i don't hate this OST or anything, but at the same time, many of the songs here didn't really stand out to me, and that even includes some of the songs that i actually liked, i feel like the biggest problem with this soundtrack is that a lot of the songs in this mod feel like they drag on too much, and unfortunately, many of them don't use that time well, especially since many of these don't have a lot of melodies that really stand out to compensate, which made this OST kind of a slog to get through for me, and that does suck because there's so much potential here, but i feel like it wasn't used to it's fullest, thankfully however, from what i've seen of V2, it looks really good! And i'm genuinely looking foward to how it turns out, because i'm sure it'll be great. Oh by the way Neo, about 14:50, you're technically right, but the character in this mod is called Endgame, who's the creator of the mod's retake on Victim 1 and the MARIO creepypasta as whole, if you're wondering how he ends up like this, in his story, after accidentally kills Luigi, he realizes that he's in a video game, and so he goes insane and starts killing everybody else in the game until the game code broke, and that's how Endgame turns into that, as he's now classified as an enemy
You know what, I got things to say about this mod. I find this mod average, but I’m gonna talk about it. Familiar, Blinked, Cover Up: These are the “I get it, not my thing” songs. I think they’re C tier, but if someone said they like it, I wouldn’t complain. Hero’s Doom, Merry Massacre: Same thing, but they’re the closest to B tier of the group, but they got one or two flaws for me to outline. For Hero’s Doom, it’s MX’s chromatic, and for Merry Massacre, it’s the kinda overuse of the main melody. I like the melody, but it got repetitive there is another flaw, but it’s better to discuss later. Mario does that (I’m calling the song that so my comment doesn’t potentially get deleted): I… don’t hate this one. The song is generic, but I don’t hate both the basic chromatic for both Mario and Goomba, and the melody. This is probably better than Cover Up Ground Zero: This also has the stand repetitive flaw as Merry Massacre, but worse because I don’t like the melody used. It’s still C tier, pretty close to D Burning Hatred: Speaking of D tier, this is my version of Victimized, The first part is decent (if kinda forgettable), but the second part of really bad for two reasons. 1: This is the worst case of repetition. The melody way too overused and I don’t like the melody, mainly because of 2: IHY’s chromatic. It’s a weird blend of trying to sound like Luigi (MMV2), and sound like the singer vocals have been eradicated (MFNFPV2), and it blend well in this case. A Grand Ol Time: Someone in the poll described this as “The Milk (Sonic.EXE) of MMNM” and I agree. The chromatics are bad, the instrumentals and melody are just poorly put together memes song. This song has no soul. I then coined term “Cynical Nourishing Blood” because of how soulless it is. F tier, this song frustrates me. Victimized: I’m ending this comment on a positive note. I like Victimized. The first phase is a great blend of eerie and Mario at the same time. The second phase I like as well, Victim 1’s chromatic don’t hurt my ears and I actually enjoy it. The melodies are also pretty good. Solid A tier Pink Forest: This is my favorite of the mod and the only S tier. Most of what I like was outlined in the video, but I can talk about how I don’t mind the pauses in the song when the instrumentals are flawless, along with just liking the eerie, yet magical vibe of the song. I definitely agree this is better than Dark Forest, and I like Dark Forest for that matter.
Hello comment section! Welcome to Neo Theory where today, I’m gonna figure out WHICH MODS are gonna be in tomorrows poll! What we know: the next poll is going to consist of 4 major mods. One of them is one Neo has been teasing for months, one is one of his most requested mods, one is a special ranking with a “fun twist” according to Neo and the final one is something he wanted to rank for a long time. Also, according to a comment I made in the chat, one of these is included: Weekly, MoM, WI and Imposter V4 MY THEORY: The first one is obviously the massive VS FNAF ranking. Like, he has been teasing that ranking for very long now. The last one I am almost certain is Imposter V4. His very first community post said that he was going to rank Imposter V4 at 1K subs. Then a poll was held and the Base Game ranking was chosen above the Imposter ranking. So yeah, it’s been long overdue. Now here’s where we’re getting into theory mode: the “most requested” mod, not including the songs that were mentioned or scrapped, I think is Crimson Morning. Why it’s called a huge mod when it only exists of 11/12 songs is beyond me. But someone said it in the chat and Neo then said that someone had just guessed another mod correctly so there’s my explanation for why I think it’s MCM. And the special ranking I genuinely have no idea. Right now I’m thinking it’s a collab video with him and Littlest GamerAKA Kelphart ranking DDLC Takeover + the Bad Ending songs because of Kelphart saying he was open for a collab between him and Neo and Kelphart really loves that mod. My guess is that WI will be in the poll and maybe vs imposter as well and MCM but as for they last I’am hoping it’s variety vault but it might be something like super funkin galaxy which if it is I’am very mixed on that mod
Need we remind you this mod came first? But yeah aside from Dais-eye and Endgame and.... that Mario and Goomba, everyone else is in Mario's madness v2. Ironic I'm saying that cause another character who is in MMV2 is coming to V2 of this mod, and that's Mr Virtual. Neo expect not to hear MMV2's Mr Virtual chromatic, but from the teasers of his sond Redache, I don't hate his chromatic, I like it, and hey they aren't reusing a different chromatic from another mod so I'll give them a pass.
Yea this mod is not that great in terms of soundtrack,unfortunatly But what you said in Familiar about the compressed vocals got me thinking What about you rank the ost of Super Mario Bros Funk Mix,every song has compressed vocals and there's a lot of them I really like Just so there's a chance you can see compressed vocals at their max

Almost time for the ranking! I’ve already catalogued my thoughts on all the songs in my comments on Neo’s 5 round one polls but here’s all 10 songs fully ranked side by side! For more information on a song’s placement, I recommend going to my original comments on the aforementioned polls. Also, if you’ve already read said comments and noticed some slightly different ratings for some songs, those aren’t mistakes, they’re a reflection of my updated opinions upon taking the entire mod into account. I am utterly shocked That of all songs to be in the top 3, A Grand Ol' Time is number 3. Also RIP Merry Massacre my fav song in this entire mod. But honestly not a bad list, even if I wish Cover Up was a bit higher.
@@claytonstacy4407 I didn’t include Merry Massacre because at the time I wrote this comment, I didn’t realize that it was going to be in the video. Upon relistening to it and comparing it to the rest of the list, it would be just under Blinked at an A-. As for A Grand Ol’ Time, I’m still not sure what many have against it. I don’t love it but I certainly don’t see it as the aneurism inducing headache Neo and many others seem to.

honestly yeah this OST hasn't aged all that well so i can kinda see the disdain, personally I hold this mod in slightly higher regard and actually really like a few of the songs, but I can definitely understand why it gets so much shade, hopefully V2 picks up the slack as for my own ranking: 1. Pink Forest (While I do like Dark Forest as a song, it gets docked points for not fitting Coronation Day/'the. This song on the other hand, fits the tone of the ROM hack really well.) [S] 2. Blinked (Daisy's my favorite Mario character so I'm extremely biased, but that aside I really like this song, the second half especially is very good and I honestly kinda like Dais-eye's chromatic in her true form.) [S] 3. Merry Massacre (IHY Luigi's section isn't very good, but the rest of the song's got that upbeat yet slightly ominous tone that really fits the fact you're singing against a demonic spirit dressed like Santa Claus.) [A] 4. Hero's Doom (The final stretch of this song especially is some good stuff, also I personally think MX's chromatic sounds fine enough so that wasn't much of a hindrance for me, the only problem I have is that the start of the song isn't all that memorable.) [A] 5. Victimized (The stuff you said about the first half applies here, honestly Endgame's chromatic (yes that is his name, at least so says the almighty Funkipedia) doesn't really hold him back all that much for me in the second half, but the melodies could do with a little tweaking.) [B] 6. A Grand Ol' Time (Honestly this song is alright in my opinion, yes it's just a bunch of meme references but I think some of them are pretty good to listen to, Grand Dad's chromatic is admittely kinda shit tho) [C] 7. Familiar (yeah i'm gonna be honest this song doesn't really give me much, I think the melodies are kinda generic for the most part with a few exceptions, MX's False Hero chromatic is good though) [C] 8. Cover Up (same as Familiar, but SH!Mario's chromatic is worse than False Hero's and the coin noises are kinda unnecessary) [D] 9. Burning Hatred (the first half is too slow for my tastes, I think OH GOD NO does a better job at representing IHY Luigi pre-boiling, and IHY Luigi's chromatic in the second half is pretty bad) [D] 10. Ground Zero (this is so repetitive that it gets dreadful to listen to after a while, it is cool that Mario himself is in this song, but his chromatic REALLY sucks in my opinion, Wario Apparition's chrom is decent but that's the only saving grace this song really has) [D] 11. Ok I think the reason hero’s doom sound like that i due to a different interpretation of Mx, Madness focuses on the x, massacre focus’s on the m, he is a Mario and you are playing a game with him, inferno once owned Mx and has since made his own Mario.exe retake all-father (which I adore) in which those Mario traits are highlighted even more something more than exe evil for evils sake( for sonic side to denounce orthodoxist’s reason they’re supposed to be pure evil, x has autism, lord x is a father figure and has drinking buddy’s, fatal error is a goober, and majin & unused are real bros) they are characters Tl;dr hero doom Mx focus on the Mario aspect of Mx more than the exe aspect.

Ehh this mod isn’t the greatest. Still I’ll give my ‘pre-Neo’ ranking. This is just my opinion I have only listened to all these songs like twice. 11th - Stupid Goomba Song - F tier (Instrumental sucks, chromatics are terrible the only thing saving this from a G tier is the slightly OK melodies SOMETIMES) 10th - Ground Zero - D tier (This song is just really boring to me - I keep forgetting what it sounds like, the only thing saving this from F tier is that Wario’s chromatic is sounds quite good to me - still not ranking this higher tho) 9th - Grand ol Time - D tier (This one is better milk for me. The instrumental is decent, Grandad’s chromatics are garbage but the melodies are like bad or mid even outside of the blatantly copied meme bits. Far from a good song though) 8th - Burning Hatred - C tier (I REALLY HATE the chromatics in this song for some reason, as well as the instrumental - but the melodies are really carrying this song for me, also I don’t know if anyone else notices but I find it really funny how his poses are Xeno’s from You Can’t Run) 7th - Pink Forest - B tier (Not the kind of song I like personally, but honestly no real issue with it for me. Chromatics are good, instrumental is probably the strongest part of the song - but it’s just really painfully slow and I can love it for that alone unfortunately) 6th - Hero’s Doom - B tier (Melodies are pretty good and the instrumental is good I suppose - but the vocals aren’t the best and for what it’s worth it just drags on way too long) 5th - Familiar - A tier (Same as hero’s doom but better instrumental and more memorable melodies in my eyes) 4th - Victimised - A tier (I didn’t think I would like this one but honestly it’s really underrated. I love the melodies in this one - it and the instrumental are so good. Both chromatics are good (though I prefer the first halves cleaner vocals) and I was going to give it an S tier but the ending I just really not it for me - high A tier is good for this song) 3rd - Blinked - A tier (Favourite song on the first time listening but I don’t think I can say that anymore. The melodies are pretty good along with the instrumental but the first half drags on for a bit too long and the second half gets rid of Daisy’s good chromatic in exchange for such a mediocre one. If both of these things were to be changed - I could see this one being an S tier for me) 2nd - Cover Up - A/S tier (Solid song, good instrumental, good vocals and just a nice vibe in my opinion. Luigi’s gunshots sound really good with the rest of the song. It’s on the fringe of S tier but I can’t decide now) 1st - Merry Massacre - A/S tier (best song of the mod for me - so bouncy and fun. Adore the instrumentals and the chromatics but I wish the melodies could be a bit stronger - right now it is low S tier for me but I could also place it in high A tier, it really depends on how I am feeling) Overall I don’t really like this mod - I honestly feel like I am being a bit generous with my rankings but yeah - mostly of these songs are decent or bad for me. Yeah IHY Luigi's poses are like literally the same. To quote Scott The Woz in his Mario Kart Double Dash video "Interesting Tactic." They were probably like "OH SHIT, OH SHIT WE NEED TO MAKE IHY LUIGI'S POSES!!! I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!! (Yeah I Paraphrased that from the same Scott The Woz video.)
Easily one of the mods with the biggest hot takes you have done in a while with cover-up and hero’s doom being that low and I may not agree with this ranking but I still really like the mod and I’am really exited for V2 and what you do next
There's a Victimized with Lyrics out on YT. The original poster deleted it, but there's a few re-uploads. I LOVE that version of the song. Without Victim #1's vocals, the song is a A or S in my opinion. Give it a listen!

So, about Pink Forest and Dark Forest. They both fit the theme of coronation day peach, but in different timelines, or ending. See, Dark Forest is chaotic because it's the glitchy ending. And Pink Forest is more close to the beginning, which is chilling.
Before mario madness v2 came out this mod was came out and this mod was really odd like neo said more then half of the songs are either eh, mid, decent, and great.

Victim #1 design is actually really bad and largely inaccurate if that is victim #1, because one, victim #1 is female so why is it attached to mario (unless if it's something like the forest king or something), two it has eyes when it's crime report said it doesn't, three why is aggressive or evil ain't it a victim?? I just assume that mario is the one to discover victim's corpse, not a red malevolent entity in disguise as mario

I really liked your talks on the polls, so I hope you do that more often! Also yeah, I also think Neo is going to be very harsh on this mod. And while I don’t think this mod is AS good as you say it is, I still like it.
@darkbowser7299 So here’s a funny thing about my thoughts on the mod. I do give MMNM high praise, but truth be told, I wouldn’t put a single song in the mod above A tier. The reason why I love this mod so much, aside from personal reasons, is because A. I like a majority of the mod’s OST as stated before, and B. I think the mod’s quality is extremely consistent, being either solid to really good. It’s similar to Infernal Bout where the quality of the mod is so consistent, even a majority of the songs I don’t care for are still songs I can totally get why people would say they’re good or are the best the mod has to offer. It’s also why you wouldn’t see me go as in depth as I did for this mod for songs in mods like Vs. Imposter, as while there is some great stuff in that mod, there’s also some really atrocious stuff too. Another thing is, I’m no stranger to people disliking MMNM. I understand a good portion of issues people have with the mod, as a lot of the criticisms are completely fair (I do dislike it when people compare this mod to MMV2 though, as not only is it a boring take, it’s just straight up overkill). As for me making more paragraphs on songs for other mods… well… I have something a bit better in mind… so stay tuned for that (shameless plug moment). Jesus I wrote a lot… mb

Anyways, I decided to check this mod out for myself and well… This mod is just perfectly decent in my eyes - Not too bad in quality but it’s also not exceptionally great either at the end of the day (it’s better than Trippydation though so I’ll definitely give it that). I disagree, but good tier list! I disagree the most with the Mario and Goomba song being just a B-tier. I actually really love that song and think it’s an S+.
@ For me, I just really like the slow and atmospherically immersive vibe set out throughout its entire runtime. Another thing that pulls me into this one more is that out of all of the songs in MMNM, Pink Forest is the only one to have a more consistent progressive flow which kind of adds to the immersion. Just my thoughts though.
If you think "taking a piss" song is awful then you should definitely listen to Welcome Old and the "old" version of triple trouble, they will surely give you joy and your ears will not bleed

Same. I love both songs equally (Both are S-), but the pauses in Pink Forest (the big problem for that song) is a bigger negative than the lackluster instrumental of Dark Forest (my main problem for that song).

I've been trying to get used to this ost for the last couple of days and I think I have a proper list now, yes I'm trying to get used to it again because it's been like 2 years since I met Mario's monday night massacre and now when I look at this ost again I can easily say I can say that I definitely need a v2, if you ask me why the most average fnf ost, I definitely recommend this mode anyway, but there is something I don't understand why people praise blinked so much, I don't understand, I think it's just an average song anyway in general and the list that is likely to change :D 1. @@Neos-StudioNo, this has nothing to do with wario, I don't know why, but I really can't like a wario-themed song, usually these songs are doing chromatics over the Wario voice in Mario 64, which creates the feeling of listening to a similar chromatic that I generally don't like, for example, the chromatic of wario in funhouse and ground zero are very similar to each other, and seriously, the issue has nothing to do with wario's personality, I just don't know, I can never like a wario-themed song, that's the thing, and I hate ground zero for using it in a very bad way.

The Wario Apparition originated from a Nintendo Event (yes, it’s true, look it up), but it was popularised through YT videos and the whole “Every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalised” thing. So I’m leaning more into the camp of it being an urban legend of some kind.

Well this is definitely an intresting mod to start off the year, i'm... very conflicted about this one, now i don't hate this OST or anything, but at the same time, many of the songs here didn't really stand out to me, and that even includes some of the songs that i actually liked, i feel like the biggest problem with this soundtrack is that a lot of the songs in this mod feel like they drag on too much, and unfortunately, many of them don't use that time well, especially since many of these don't have a lot of melodies that really stand out to compensate, which made this OST kind of a slog to get through for me, and that does suck because there's so much potential here, but i feel like it wasn't used to it's fullest, thankfully however, from what i've seen of V2, it looks really good! And i'm genuinely looking foward to how it turns out, because i'm sure it'll be great.

Oh by the way Neo, about 14:50, you're technically right, but the character in this mod is called Endgame, who's the creator of the mod's retake on Victim 1 and the MARIO creepypasta as whole, if you're wondering how he ends up like this, in his story, after accidentally kills Luigi, he realizes that he's in a video game, and so he goes insane and starts killing everybody else in the game until the game code broke, and that's how Endgame turns into that, as he's now classified as an enemy

You know what, I got things to say about this mod. I find this mod average, but I’m gonna talk about it.
Familiar, Blinked, Cover Up: These are the “I get it, not my thing” songs. I think they’re C tier, but if someone said they like it, I wouldn’t complain.
Hero’s Doom, Merry Massacre: Same thing, but they’re the closest to B tier of the group, but they got one or two flaws for me to outline. For Hero’s Doom, it’s MX’s chromatic, and for Merry Massacre, it’s the kinda overuse of the main melody. I like the melody, but it got repetitive there is another flaw, but it’s better to discuss later.
Mario does that (I’m calling the song that so my comment doesn’t potentially get deleted): I… don’t hate this one. The song is generic, but I don’t hate both the basic chromatic for both Mario and Goomba, and the melody. This is probably better than Cover Up
Ground Zero: This also has the stand repetitive flaw as Merry Massacre, but worse because I don’t like the melody used. It’s still C tier, pretty close to D
Burning Hatred: Speaking of D tier, this is my version of Victimized, The first part is decent (if kinda forgettable), but the second part of really bad for two reasons. 1: This is the worst case of repetition. The melody way too overused and I don’t like the melody, mainly because of 2: IHY’s chromatic. It’s a weird blend of trying to sound like Luigi (MMV2), and sound like the singer vocals have been eradicated (MFNFPV2), and it blend well in this case.
A Grand Ol Time: Someone in the poll described this as “The Milk (Sonic.EXE) of MMNM” and I agree. The chromatics are bad, the instrumentals and melody are just poorly put together memes song. This song has no soul. I then coined term “Cynical Nourishing Blood” because of how soulless it is. F tier, this song frustrates me.
Victimized: I’m ending this comment on a positive note. I like Victimized. The first phase is a great blend of eerie and Mario at the same time. The second phase I like as well, Victim 1’s chromatic don’t hurt my ears and I actually enjoy it. The melodies are also pretty good. Solid A tier
Pink Forest: This is my favorite of the mod and the only S tier. Most of what I like was outlined in the video, but I can talk about how I don’t mind the pauses in the song when the instrumentals are flawless, along with just liking the eerie, yet magical vibe of the song. I definitely agree this is better than Dark Forest, and I like Dark Forest for that matter.

Hello comment section! Welcome to Neo Theory where today, I’m gonna figure out WHICH MODS are gonna be in tomorrows poll!
What we know: the next poll is going to consist of 4 major mods. One of them is one Neo has been teasing for months, one is one of his most requested mods, one is a special ranking with a “fun twist” according to Neo and the final one is something he wanted to rank for a long time. Also, according to a comment I made in the chat, one of these is included: Weekly, MoM, WI and Imposter V4
MY THEORY: The first one is obviously the massive VS FNAF ranking. Like, he has been teasing that ranking for very long now. The last one I am almost certain is Imposter V4. His very first community post said that he was going to rank Imposter V4 at 1K subs. Then a poll was held and the Base Game ranking was chosen above the Imposter ranking. So yeah, it’s been long overdue. Now here’s where we’re getting into theory mode: the “most requested” mod, not including the songs that were mentioned or scrapped, I think is Crimson Morning. Why it’s called a huge mod when it only exists of 11/12 songs is beyond me. But someone said it in the chat and Neo then said that someone had just guessed another mod correctly so there’s my explanation for why I think it’s MCM. And the special ranking I genuinely have no idea. Right now I’m thinking it’s a collab video with him and Littlest GamerAKA Kelphart ranking DDLC Takeover + the Bad Ending songs because of Kelphart saying he was open for a collab between him and Neo and Kelphart really loves that mod.

Neo expect not to hear MMV2's Mr Virtual chromatic, but from the teasers of his sond Redache, I don't hate his chromatic, I like it, and hey they aren't reusing a different chromatic from another mod so I'll give them a pass.

For more information on a song’s placement, I recommend going to my original comments on the aforementioned polls. Also, if you’ve already read said comments and noticed some slightly different ratings for some songs, those aren’t mistakes, they’re a reflection of my updated opinions upon taking the entire mod into account. Upon relistening to it and comparing it to the rest of the list, it would be just under Blinked at an A-. As for A Grand Ol’ Time, I’m still not sure what many have against it. I don’t love it but I certainly don’t see it as the aneurism inducing headache Neo and many others seem to.

honestly yeah this OST hasn't aged all that well so i can kinda see the disdain, personally I hold this mod in slightly higher regard and actually really like a few of the songs, but I can definitely understand why it gets so much shade, hopefully V2 picks up the slack
as for my own ranking:
1. Pink Forest (While I do like Dark Forest as a song, it gets docked points for not fitting Coronation Day/'the. This song on the other hand, fits the tone of the ROM hack really well.) [S]
2. Blinked (Daisy's my favorite Mario character so I'm extremely biased, but that aside I really like this song, the second half especially is very good and I honestly kinda like Dais-eye's chromatic in her true form.) [S]
3. Merry Massacre (IHY Luigi's section isn't very good, but the rest of the song's got that upbeat yet slightly ominous tone that really fits the fact you're singing against a demonic spirit dressed like Santa Claus.) [A]
4. Hero's Doom (The final stretch of this song especially is some good stuff, also I personally think MX's chromatic sounds fine enough so that wasn't much of a hindrance for me, the only problem I have is that the start of the song isn't all that memorable.) [A]
5. Victimized (The stuff you said about the first half applies here, honestly Endgame's chromatic (yes that is his name, at least so says the almighty Funkipedia) doesn't really hold him back all that much for me in the second half, but the melodies could do with a little tweaking.) [B]
6. A Grand Ol' Time (Honestly this song is alright in my opinion, yes it's just a bunch of meme references but I think some of them are pretty good to listen to, Grand Dad's chromatic is admittely kinda shit tho) [C]
7. Familiar (yeah i'm gonna be honest this song doesn't really give me much, I think the melodies are kinda generic for the most part with a few exceptions, MX's False Hero chromatic is good though) [C]
8. Cover Up (same as Familiar, but SH!Mario's chromatic is worse than False Hero's and the coin noises are kinda unnecessary) [D]

Ehh this mod isn’t the greatest. Still I’ll give my ‘pre-Neo’ ranking. This is just my opinion I have only listened to all these songs like twice.
11th - Stupid Goomba Song - F tier (Instrumental sucks, chromatics are terrible the only thing saving this from a G tier is the slightly OK melodies SOMETIMES)
10th - Ground Zero - D tier (This song is just really boring to me - I keep forgetting what it sounds like, the only thing saving this from F tier is that Wario’s chromatic is sounds quite good to me - still not ranking this higher tho)
9th - Grand ol Time - D tier (This one is better milk for me. The instrumental is decent, Grandad’s chromatics are garbage but the melodies are like bad or mid even outside of the blatantly copied meme bits. Far from a good song though)
8th - Burning Hatred - C tier (I REALLY HATE the chromatics in this song for some reason, as well as the instrumental - but the melodies are really carrying this song for me, also I don’t know if anyone else notices but I find it really funny how his poses are Xeno’s from You Can’t Run)
7th - Pink Forest - B tier (Not the kind of song I like personally, but honestly no real issue with it for me. Chromatics are good, instrumental is probably the strongest part of the song - but it’s just really painfully slow and I can love it for that alone unfortunately)
6th - Hero’s Doom - B tier (Melodies are pretty good and the instrumental is good I suppose - but the vocals aren’t the best and for what it’s worth it just drags on way too long)

4th - Victimised - A tier (I didn’t think I would like this one but honestly it’s really underrated. I love the melodies in this one - it and the instrumental are so good. Both chromatics are good (though I prefer the first halves cleaner vocals) and I was going to give it an S tier but the ending I just really not it for me - high A tier is good for this song)
3rd - Blinked - A tier (Favourite song on the first time listening but I don’t think I can say that anymore. The melodies are pretty good along with the instrumental but the first half drags on for a bit too long and the second half gets rid of Daisy’s good chromatic in exchange for such a mediocre one. If both of these things were to be changed - I could see this one being an S tier for me)
2nd - Cover Up - A/S tier (Solid song, good instrumental, good vocals and just a nice vibe in my opinion. Luigi’s gunshots sound really good with the rest of the song. It’s on the fringe of S tier but I can’t decide now)
1st - Merry Massacre - A/S tier (best song of the mod for me - so bouncy and fun. Adore the instrumentals and the chromatics but I wish the melodies could be a bit stronger - right now it is low S tier for me but I could also place it in high A tier, it really depends on how I am feeling)
Overall I don’t really like this mod - I honestly feel like I am being a bit generous with my rankings but yeah - mostly of these songs are decent or bad for me. Please don’t flame me in the replies this is just my opinion on these songs.
Yeah IHY Luigi's poses are like literally the same. To quote Scott The Woz in his Mario Kart Double Dash video "Interesting Tactic." They were probably like "OH SHIT, OH SHIT WE NEED TO MAKE IHY LUIGI'S POSES!!! I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!! (Yeah I Paraphrased that from the same Scott The Woz video.)

The mod is OK, I just don't want to say anything more, I like the melody of Ground zero and Familiar is considered a good song for me.
So, about Pink Forest and Dark Forest. They both fit the theme of coronation day peach, but in different timelines, or ending. See, Dark Forest is chaotic because it's the glitchy ending. And Pink Forest is more close to the beginning, which is chilling.
Before mario madness v2 came out this mod was came out and this mod was really odd like neo said more then half of the songs are either eh, mid, decent, and great.

Victim #1 design is actually really bad and largely inaccurate if that is victim #1, because one, victim #1 is female so why is it attached to mario (unless if it's something like the forest king or something), two it has eyes when it's crime report said it doesn't, three why is aggressive or evil ain't it a victim?? I just assume that mario is the one to discover victim's corpse, not a red malevolent entity in disguise as mario
Endgame is the developer's take on Victim 1 and the MARIO rom hack. So I don't think it was trying to be accurate.

I already know Neo isn’t going to be super positive with this mod, but I’ll still be here to give my utmost support to one of my favorite FNF mods.
I really liked your talks on the polls, so I hope you do that more often! Also yeah, I also think Neo is going to be very harsh on this mod. And while I don’t think this mod is AS good as you say it is, I still like it.
@darkbowser7299 So here’s a funny thing about my thoughts on the mod. I do give MMNM high praise, but truth be told, I wouldn’t put a single song in the mod above A tier. The reason why I love this mod so much, aside from personal reasons, is because A. I like a majority of the mod’s OST as stated before, and B. I think the mod’s quality is extremely consistent, being either solid to really good. It’s similar to Infernal Bout where the quality of the mod is so consistent, even a majority of the songs I don’t care for are still songs I can totally get why people would say they’re good or are the best the mod has to offer. It’s also why you wouldn’t see me go as in depth as I did for this mod for songs in mods like Vs. Imposter, as while there is some great stuff in that mod, there’s also some really atrocious stuff too. Another thing is, I’m no stranger to people disliking MMNM. I understand a good portion of issues people have with the mod, as a lot of the criticisms are completely fair (I do dislike it when people compare this mod to MMV2 though, as not only is it a boring take, it’s just straight up overkill). As for me making more paragraphs on songs for other mods… well… I have something a bit better in mind… so stay tuned for that (shameless plug moment).

Ok, so I know that I’m extremely late for this one but whatever. Anyways, I decided to check this mod out for myself and well… This mod is just perfectly decent in my eyes - Not too bad in quality but it’s also not exceptionally great either at the end of the day (it’s better than Trippydation though so I’ll definitely give it that). @ For me, I just really like the slow and atmospherically immersive vibe set out throughout its entire runtime. Another thing that pulls me into this one more is that out of all of the songs in MMNM, Pink Forest is the only one to have a more consistent progressive flow which kind of adds to the immersion. Just my thoughts though.
AdRev's cover of burning hatred is genuinely fantastic. I'd highly recommended giving it a listen.

Same. I love both songs equally (Both are S-), but the pauses in Pink Forest (the big problem for that song) is a bigger negative than the lackluster instrumental of Dark Forest (my main problem for that song).

I've been trying to get used to this ost for the last couple of days and I think I have a proper list now, yes I'm trying to get used to it again because it's been like 2 years since I met Mario's monday night massacre and now when I look at this ost again I can easily say I can say that I definitely need a v2, if you ask me why the most average fnf ost, I definitely recommend this mode anyway, but there is something I don't understand why people praise blinked so much, I don't understand, I think it's just an average song anyway in general and the list that is likely to change :D

@@Neos-StudioNo, this has nothing to do with wario, I don't know why, but I really can't like a wario-themed song, usually these songs are doing chromatics over the Wario voice in Mario 64, which creates the feeling of listening to a similar chromatic that I generally don't like, for example, the chromatic of wario in funhouse and ground zero are very similar to each other, and seriously, the issue has nothing to do with wario's personality, I just don't know, I can never like a wario-themed song, that's the thing, and I hate ground zero for using it in a very bad way.

The Wario Apparition originated from a Nintendo Event (yes, it’s true, look it up), but it was popularised through YT videos and the whole “Every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalised” thing. So I’m leaning more into the camp of it being an urban legend of some kind.
