I think the first verse has a hot start, but it might be the weakest verse on the song. There are so many unbelievably fire lyrics later on .

@@oceanocean5224 I’ve been listening to Tupac since early 2000s ( dats when I was born ) we used to blast his songs . When I was A little girl I would sing ‘ changes ‘ in the car . I remember being about 3/4 years old singing ‘ dats just the way it is , things will never be the same ‘ and then all I could hear was the Tupac beat but honestly I was to young to know dat was Tupac I would get so frustrated and worked out mind u I was only 3-4 years old I’ve been singing Tupac songs as soon as I learned how to talk. And I used to cry because I didn’t know who made dat song . When I got older and got on RUclips I heard the Tupac song and I was like oh my god I can’t believe dis is the song I used to sing in the car as A little girl . Then I started gong over the song and heard the chorus and I almost started crying . Then I really started listening to Tupac on my own I was about 5-6 years in dis time so it was the early 2010s . The first Tupac music video I ever watched when I was about 5 was ‘ hit em up ‘ I will never forget my 5 years old self being so confused and amazed on how Tupac made A video like dat back in the 90z . I vividly remember thinking they were actors and not actually Tupac and the outlawz due to how up to date / ahead of his time the music video was .

Holla at me was so hard when it came out. If PAC was going!? he was going with the thunder gods and reigned hell on ppl like puff and bad boy etc. PAC wasn't playing no more. But I think he shoulda did his research on the word "thug" it's a east Indian goddess of destruction, war and death. Had us 90s kids ...hell if PAC knew what God he was involking I'm sure he would dismantled that "thug life theory". PAC had mf ready to die for him! that's how powerful he was. Grown men cried like baby girls when they announced on the 7th day that he was gone forever. PAC had power and ppl feared him. I was hoping he would come back ...PAC never came back. Very hard death to even believe after all these yrs.

@mustafahajj ok. It's not about travel. When I say hood. Hood is more of a metaphor. When it cones to the content. Big was hood - GED. Pac was a PHD, graduated- the way he captured the hearts, of the black culture of property and pain & politics. Big never talk about politics. Pac had class. The best rapper. Plus people oversees loves rap and hip hop. That doesn't mean anything, and artists that is considered d-list here are stars elsewhere. Brenda got a baby- dear mama- SMH 2pac had real talent

By far my favorite 2Pac song! Maybe my favorite hip hop track of all time. I got into the best physical shape of my life with this blaring in my Walkman.
