Recently picked up a Compact. Took it to work today. I gotta say, in spite of the pocket real estate it eats up, & the ergonomic issue of the locking lever, there's a fun factor here that will probably see this thing get some rotation.
Ive been using a regular kaeambit as an EDC knife for a while now the single edge curved blade is handy more often then not so a foldable solution is perfect for me
Nice knife; I might have to get one. For me, the compact would probably be the way to go, as it gives up nothing to the full size, IMO. I often carry two knives, one of which is an EDC for regular tasks such as cutting tape, cardboard, or whatever else it may be needed for. The other knife is a defensive knife which is razor sharp and ready to perform one single task. Where I live, a fixed blade knife is illegal to carry unless it is clearly visible (meaning it can't even be hidden under a jacket on your belt), which defeats the purpose for me. I prefer a folder with an Emerson deployment system for rapid deployment, but this may be the next best thing.
I have an spiderco emerson folder before I retired it for the provoke zap I found out that with with thumb opener on the provoke it could be used as an emerson wave they say it's not recommended and I noticed when I do it my phone case gets a little scratched but if you need the knife fast you can pull it out your pocket with you index finger already in the hole pull it out and put in work
I just got mine in the mail, hate it, the arms rub against the body making it only open half way with a quick thumb push like the way the guy did in the video
I bought one of these from Blade HQ and I was very disappointed. The knife was well built the problem was closing it. The button was nearly impossible to push in without breaking your thumbs. I returned it they gave me my money back but not the shipping cost I will never do business with them again. I went on Amazon and bought the full-size one and it works perfect.
@@tom3699 perfect, i just ordered one last night and its coming tuesday. really excited as i wanted a karambit that was legal carry in my state and i love the karambit style in general. my first knife that is worth quite a bit too! cant wait to get it.
There are dozens of cheap utility knives at ur local hardware store. Why would you use a $100 to $200 fighting knife for boxes?? Some ppl dont live in the safest cities or states. Self defense is necessary in the U.S/ the World.

Do you mean Compact?

Sorry but while I love the concept of the Caswell design I feel like they're waaay overpriced. Both the compact and large one.
I fell in love with the design, I got sick when I saw the prices! 😳🤮
150 would be a reasonable Price for the Quality and Development Cost
I got the Provoke Zap earlier this year. But the compact version is very intriguing to me.

The clip makes it easy to use on right pockets but you can still use the left side you just gotta twist your arm accordingly
@@robby9004 Thanks for the tip! I think I'll for sure give this knife a try

You need to learn how to use it. .
Mi az ára?
I have the big CRKT version, but i must buy the mini version, but where can i buy this?
Hey dude, do you still have the cold steel Espada xl in all black cts xhp, I was wondering if you would let it go and if so for how much?
Let’s start the bidding! Lol
$1000
That’s not considered spring assisted is it?
Nope, not spring assisted.
2 bar, not "4 bar". 4 pivots.
Is this spring assisted?
Sorta. It’s built in a way so it’s naturally under tension. But it’s not a conventional spring assisted knife

so the original was better than the compact in your experience?
