This advice is 100% on point. Too many dealers afraid of inspectors that protect your wallet… Run… Pierre and Laurel thank you for fighting the good fight and protecting folks from the garbage dealers try to sell folks. An educated buyer is not what RV dealers or manufacturers want… We as Americans need to stop buying stuff based on past reputation of the companies. They all only give you a year and oh well if you can’t get in… Then you fight with them for repairs. Get stuff fixed before you leave and if they say manufacturer can only fix it, shake hands and walk away because you will waste time traveling to the manufacturer and wait forever to get repairs.

I spent 4 days negotiating a buy, spent money on a great inspection, walked out twice, and got over $10,000 off my used 2016 Tiffin. Yeah, I wasn't having their crap. I got a great deal on an RV that's been well taken care of, but needed some minor work. I had to make the DEALER jump through hoops. I heard every sales tactic possible, and a myriad of lies. Called em on all of it. Do your due diligence, people. And ALWAYS get a inspection! Happy travels.

Good vedio , If I didn't like the RV , this is what I would do , whisper to the sales person saying a big no , and if you don't give me refund back , I would make sure all the customers would hear me very loudly and could lose some other RV deals , so now my refund becomes hush money . By the way did you watch Molly the magpie and Peggy ? That story is priceless , its a must watch . Let me know if you like it

Can i suggest hiring an expert to help you for people who not informed?? i went this route. This guy knows every manufacturer model etc. he calls and interviews buyers asking questions and negotiating the price. And he interviews client first.

understand but i am in negotiations buying used RV. i will
put deposit down but it is CONTINGENT UPON THE INSPECTION. so i have to show inspection if i backing out and wanting my money back. But mine is a cosignment so dont think consignment dealer is as pushy as a dealership?? plus this place been business 30 years local and high reviews.

Exactly, when you pay for an inspection, you own it. If the dealer wants YOUR inspection, let them pay you for it, otherwise, walk away.

Here's a very funny way to shut down a RV dealerships that says oh no we did a inspection already so you don't need to do one. Great then if they don't find anything I'll pay for pre delivery inspection charges. But if they find a things then you remove your pre delivery inspection charges. Watch the back pedal so hard you get a laugh at how fast they can move. Always a refundable deposit, period!! Always contingent on an inspection and then fixing everything before you sign the dotted line.
If they want your inspection sheets tell them sure here's the cost of it and when you pay me in cash no checks I'll give it to you. Why are dealerships always looking for something free? You want my info you pay me I don't work for free.wuen they say they don't either tell them their business model says differently or you would charge to see your unit's. But then no one would pay for that either.

You definitely share if you're interested in buying.
Within the report, there's a sub section called "request list".That becomes a PDF for all the repairs you want to be ✔️ done.
