The universe is incredibly lucky to have someone as unique and amazing as you in it. You make so many people’s lives better. Honestly though, if your mum doesn’t see any of this in you, then she must be blind in both eyes. I have the same with my dad, he hates girls football so he doesn’t come to support me unless he HAS to, he doesn’t take me out anywhere, he’s always telling me that I look scruffy and that I should start making an effort with my looks. No, don’t you know that I barely love myself enough to try? He doesn’t even try when it comes to me, but he has full interest in my younger sister. I’m a middle child so sometimes I feel like the black sheep in my family. Sorry I babbled on about my unimportant self, what I’m trying to say is, wait until someone who WILL appreciate how amazing you are comes along. They may not replace your mum but they will love you for you.
