I love KnifeCase and loved to see both of them develop throughout season 2! Both of them brought out better things for each other. Knife was a huge jerk in season one and the beginning of season two and intentionally hurt others and was mean to people. (He even took pride in being a jerk). In episode 7 suitcase tried to tell knife about “random acts of kindness” but he just got angry and brushed suitcase away. However I feel that episode 11 was the turning point for him. He saw suitcase’s struggles with her alliance and knew he couldn’t just stay quiet about it. While suitcase was sitting alone he came over and gave her the speech about “making your presence known”. That helped suitcase stand up for herself and grow out of her shell more. Knife then thought about the “random acts of kindness”. He helped suitcase and gave great advice and did the same thing with microphone. In episode 15 suitcase has to choose between saving baseball or knife. Suitcase questions whether knife genuinely meant to motivate suitcase or did it for his own benefit. Knife admitted that he knew the advantages it would give him but did it for the main reason to help out suitcase. She ultimately chose knife because he gave her strength and the ability to speak out about what she believes is right. During the finale knife was more determined to win than suitcase but he still wanted to protect her. They were both trying their best to defeat cobs and save their friends. However I believe the ultimate redemption for knife was sacrificing himself for marshmallow. He saved the person he used to hurt for fun but he died along the way. At the end knife is a ghost and suitcase sits with him on the roof talking. Suitcase was proud of knife’s growth throughout the season. Overall, knife was a jerk at first who hurt people for his own amusement, but suitcase helped him become a better person through random acts of kindness. And suitcase was timid and anxious while she couldn’t speak up, but knife helped her stand up for herself and made her presence known. (I yapped on for long enough and this probably wasn’t great but those were just my thoughts 😭)
For y’all asking why her voice has changed over the seasons I’m pretty sure it’s because they changed the voice actors but to make it make sense in the show. It’s confirmed when suitcase is having her audition that MePhone asked her to put on a higher pitched voice and she probably just lost doing the high-pitched voice over the episodes P.S Ngl I kinda like when her voice was more monotone, but was still sort of high-pitched so in the middle basically the voice she had during the time she was talking with knife on the dock
Personally, i just think their good friends. Pickle x knife (crushes) and taco x mic (they both know they have crushes on each other) is a bit more senseical
