I've discovered "Composite Shots" in my video editor. Now I can do all sorts of whacky effects like the one at the end :)

An easy way to make the red hat block:
Type %15 into scratch search, then copy the rectangle. Go into a project, make a block, and paste that weird block in. Boom, you have a red unusable hat block.
2:27 you can also type %15 in the search bar then copy what you get and name a block that

to break scratch, you can cut part of a sprite's sound that touches the beginning of the sound, and the sound will be duplicated. Undo the sound and it will break scratch.

You need to create a file of a start of a drive and give the file extension ".456" and assign the file to open scratch . Then you have to click onto costumes and then code . And boom , scratch crashes

In Scratch 2, this actually crashed some people's computers (BSOD) or browsers. For me, it displayed a black bar on the right side of the screen and you couldn't do anything.

That's literally impossible. It's possible to crash browsers, but not computers with scratch. Scratch runs in the browser, which means it was coded in Javascript, and unless the browser is internet explorer, Javascript cannot crash the computer.

making a sprite named "hey (yes with the ") will make your scratch project break at a point which you cant save it anymore
red hat blocked can also be type %15 then copy it then click make blocks then paste then click okay.

try this: when space clicked broadcast the square symbol and then when i recieve the square symbol broadcast the square symbol and then when i recevie the square symbol broadcast the square symbol. go to costumes and then come back anddddd! magic! your block have dissapeared

There is an easier way to get the red block, just create a custom block with a specific character, which I can't remember.

Break scratch:
1- Go to my blocks
2- label text %n
3- add a input
4- and add a label
5- label text %dn
6- click ok
A second label is in left top corder.

Editing. There's the screen recording, which I added a coloured glitch effect too. I put a bunch of explosions on top and found a dramatic countdown voice online. It took me a while to make.
To get the red hat block you can also put a certain character into a custom block
Note: it’s the %15 character

how to create a hacked block with no file modyfing: make a block and name it %square symbol(i really mean that %15 symbol) add a boolean and you have a weird hacked block.
another way to break scratch type %15 in the start page search bar you might get your search deleted or you might get a square copy it and rename the sounds with it go back to code you will only have 3 palletes

Here’s an easy way of getting red hat, first, type %15 on scratches search tab, then copy and paste the little symbol on the search tab, and then make a block and paste that, BOOM you get it

then create a project create a new block copy it in then press ok you will get the hacked block and scratch ill not crash.

you don't need to load or even make a file. Put %15 on the search bar copy it and make a block with it.

Another way to get the red block is to type %15 in the search bar and there will be a square. Copy it and make a new block in a project. Then, paste the square thingy and press ok and... ;)

@@donut_ask Also, another way that deadly thing is that make a block, put one block, and rename the block in where you drag blocks. Then, name it %. After that, you cannot do anything.

I might actually do this at the end of my UnusAnnusOneYear account. Since my last project is gonna be a timer, I can just code it so it crashes at the end of it. Not like I can face consequences, I am gonna have it deleted the exact moment people are able to realise it crashes!
Your able to do it in scratch jr. Step 1. Make a rectangle. Step 2. copy it 10 times. Step 3. reopen the project. BOOM! it crashes. NOTE it only works on your average uk school iPad.

Someone should made a false report button in scratch that crashes so you dont false report it!
That can theoretically happen since there are report detectors on Scratch pre-made. However, most report detectors don't run when the project is stopped unlike more advanced ones with more workarounds like "when timer > timer + 0.05" (because the timer stops updating after the project stops).
However, projects that are made deliberately to crash the Scratch website or editor is NOT allowed according to the ToS.
