Welcome to Poland. Glad you enjoyed it! Gdańsk is an excellent choice. Hope you have not missed the most iconic spot with Neptune fountain and Arthur's court…
@@Millie-Joe the only city on the same level as Gdansk is Krakow, maybe Wroclaw a bit later… but Gdansk and krakow are Polish while Wroclaw in its currrtn shape is German.
In the holidays I recommend the Masurian region, for example Mikołajki, many clean lakes, beautiful nature. If you get good weather it is nicer than in the South of Europe
I personally would like to recommend you a few more cities and towns in Poland. Try Krakow, Wroclaw, Torun. A few nice towns would include Zakopane (mountain town) and i would say sandomierz and kazimierz dolny are off the typical tourist trail but you wouldnt need long there. If you want a big city then of course, Warsaw, it has a lot of skyscrapers but it also has a nice old town which was completely rebuilt after ww2.
@@angel-vw6xc thank you so much for these recommendations, we look forward to coming back to Poland and will add all of these to our list. Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a detailed recommendation list 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🌟
Really nicely recorded and edited video and I'm happy you enjoyed Gdansk but you really, really need a mic. It was very tiring to listen with all the background noise. It doesn't have to be high end or expensive stuff look into something like hollyland lark mark 2 or alternatives and I guarantee your videos will be even better!
@@freetibett5024 Uderrated - that's for sure - everybody talking only Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Poznań, Warszawa...... money goes only to those BIG Cities - try to get to Toruń from Warszawa The Capital Of Poland - by car no direct express way, by train - no fast train line, by plane - Bydgoszcz nearest, but still no swift connection beween Bydgoszcz and Toruń.... Toruń Old Town the beauty of Poland 🙂 with great history!
That „mariaka” made my ears hurt 😄 Little lesson about Polish language, which is very grapho-phonetic language. It means that we are obliged to speak every single letter in the word, so the Bazylika is MariaCka not „Mariaka”, also the street. 😉 Every CK connection in Polish you should say as a short „tssk” sound in english. Similar to the sound of opening a can of a beer or a soda. 😊
it would be better for Poland to be underrated by tourists. I appreciate that it is safe here, that there are no illegal migrants, and we all have one god and culture.
"Most beautiful" ? How many citys du you have visited in Poland, that you can say that.

As a Pole, I confirm that Gdańsk can easily be in the top 3 most beautiful Polish cities. It can compete with Krakow, but these two cities have a different vibe, so it's hard to compare them. I like both very much. But that's just my opinion.
@@Millie-Joe In Gdańsk u have only Długi Targ and nearby streets, and sea(and i don't like sea ).Wrocław is bigger, have more tourist spots and museums. And is close to Karkonosze mountains where are many castles etc.I just prefer lower silesia.

We did see those spots too! Where else in Poland would you recommend we visit next? We loved Gdansk 🇵🇱👏🏼

If Gdańsk is right on the border then Manchester is a coastal city ;-).

Hallelujah Brits indulge!!!.
Keep up the good work mate
What did you expect? Bears and log cabins?
I’m not sure what we expected but we were certainly impressed! 🤣 🐻
Our English and French allies left us on our own in 1939. That is why there was so much to rebuild.
What a fantastic job they’ve done at rebuilding Gdansk! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
