I’m one who has left the building and went the Ekklesia route but even then we are lacking the power and intimacy the Ekklesia needs to walk in. I also say I am the church so people can get out of the skewed view of the building Of course it’s not just me alone when ai say I am the church it’s always assembling but most of all in spirit and truth. God has never failed me even if I didn’t assemble. I am here to do the Fathers work and God will not be limited by this or that. He is moved by obedience and love for one another. Blessings !

Jesus Never Told Believers to Go to Church Here’s what he actually said.
Believe it or not, Jesus only used the word “church” twice.
On the first occasion, Jesus speaks to his disciple Peter in
      - Matthew 16:18. Jesus says:
“So I tell you, you are Peter.
And I will build my church on this rock.
And the power of hell will not be able to overcome it.”
On the second occasion, Jesus is giving some instructions to those listening on how they ought to address conflict when it arises.
      Those words are found in
      - Matthew 18:15-17. Jesus says:
“If your brother or sister in God’s family does something wrong , go and tell them what they did wrong.
But do this when you are alone with them.
If they listen to you, then you have helped them to be your brother or sister again.
But if they refuse to listen,
go to them again and take one or two people with you.
Then there will be two or three people who will be able to tell all that happened.
If they refuse to listen to them, tell the church.
And if they refuse to listen to the church,
treat them as you would treat someone who does not know God or who is a tax collector.”
Besides these two occasions, Jesus never mentions or uses the word church.
What did Jesus mean by " church " ?
It's a constituency with an electoral system.
The word that Jesus used for “church” was originally a Greek term, “ EKKLESIA ,” which literally means " the people " , “ community ” or even “ society " gathering to vote on important legal matters.
In Ancient Greece, the Ekklesia was the assembly or gathering of free citizens to discuss, debate, and decide upon legal matters by democratic process.
The word “ EKKLESIA ” was a compound word of two segments:
“ Ek , ” a PREPOSITION meaning “out of,” and a verb, “ KALEO ,” signifying “to call.”
Together, it literally meant “to call out” or “called-out ones " , " to invite " or " the invited ones " .
So, Ekkeslia meant both INVITING PEOPLE to form a group (the call) and the outcome of that invitation (the gathering of the “called”).
Ekklesia simply meant " the people " or " community ".
There is no other definition of church.
So , in short , JESUS adverted the people on how to deal with someone who's agrivating you.
      JESUS hates scandals
1 - By addressing the person in particular , never in public.
2 - Try a second time with two or three more people to serve as witnesses of you trying to resolve some agrievance.
3 - If it doesn't work. , only then , you should present your case publicly to explain what happened.

Thank you for such clarity. My question, is why keep using the word "church" once we know the original word is "ekklesia". And 2nd, why do we revert back to the Athen's meaning "assembly" when the meaning of "ekklesia" on its own is sufficient "THE CALLED OUT ONES"?? It's the Holy Spirit that is still relevant in this era who will call out individuals. Naturally the Holy Spirit will bring these "CALLED OUT ONES" together.

Many years ago the LORD told my husband and I to leave the church we'd been attending for years. (This is a more condensed version of all that went on...) Anyway, after some time had passed and being accused of "forsaking the assembly" I cried out to the Lord for an answer to this accusation and HE was not slow to answer!
HE said this..."Lisa, you are the church!".
    That's Ekklesia...

Jesus set up the quarim for a Christian Ekklesia when he said where 2 or more are gathering in my name, a Christian Ekklesia is functional as an Ekklesia on as much as it represents those Christian ambassadors meeting to carry out the business of the kingdom will all members as equals and all members expected to participate, very different from what we call church today. The Holy Spirit is about to reform his people into an Ekklesia similar to how the early Ekklesia operated so essentially we could end up with 2 Christian institutions. The church spilt into over 55000 parts and his ekklesia operated and run by the holy spirit through servant leaders who operate in faith without the titles of the church clergy. All the resources of the ekklesia being made available to meet the needs of the body and not being wasted by giving it to banks for church mortgages or saleries for the titled elite and there are many other profound differences. A Christian Ekklesia is fuelled by a unity and ove for one another that hasn't been seen for 2000 years

Hey bro, a lot of good stuff there. Really appreciate you also bringing out the etamology of "church" as well as "ekklesia".
Personally though i think you also will have trouble when you think of ekklesia as an assembly .... better to think of ekklesia as the Lord's elect .... if you look at the Greek word in scripture for elect it is close to ekklesia. I believe that also fits with it's use in Jesus time.
I definitely agree that we can't say I am the ekklesia ... that doesn’t make sense .... but we, those who have been elected (because we've put our trust in Him) are a part of His ekklesia.
As far as assembly goes, we His ekklesia absolutely need to assembly but our identity isn't in assembly it's in being separated to the Lord and for the Lord.
A bit like the word team (as in a sports team) .... if we're part of a football team, yes we have a purpose but we're still part of the team, a team member, in between games.
So also we are part of His ekklesia when we are assembled but that's not where our identity is. Its in being part of His elected .... when we're assembled and when we're not. ❤

The Spirit of YHWH is The Teacher.
I kept wondering how the word "church" came about... He had already taught me that Yahushua Ha Mashiach is talking about the 'temple body"...
      Matt 16:18-19
...and upon this Rock I will build My tabernacle (temple); and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Body - Sanctuary, Temple (Tabernacle), Candlestick.
***Unlearn how we use the word "church", for we are His "Tabernacle /or Temple".
      Below:
He taught me with The Word of YHWH Himself.
Exo 24 And Moses wrote all the words of the YHWH... and builded an altar... he took the Book of The Covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the YHWH hath said will we do, and be obedient.
And YHWH said unto Moses, Come up to Me ...and I will give thee tables of Stone, and a Law, and Commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
Exo 25 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take My offering... the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass... And let them make Me a Sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of The Tabernacle... shall ye make it... thou shalt put into The Ark the Testimony which I shall give thee... thou shalt make a Mercy Seat of pure gold... And thou shalt put the Mercy Seat above upon The Ark; and in The Ark thou shalt put The Testimony that I shall give thee. And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the Mercy Seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon The Ark of The Testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. And thou shalt set upon The Table Shewbread before Me alway.
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold... six branches shall come out of the sides of it...
Exo 26 And thou shalt hang up The Vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within The Vail The Ark of The Testimony: and The Vail shall divide unto you between the Holy Place and the Most Holy... thou shalt put the Mercy Seat upon The Ark of The Testimony in the Most Holy Place... thou shalt set the Table without The Vail, and The Candlestick over against the Table on the side of The Tabernacle...
Exo 27 ...thou shalt make The Court of The Tabernacle...
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.
In The Tabernacle of the congregation without The Vail, which is before The Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before YHWH: it shall be a statute for ever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.
Exo 40 And YHWH spake unto Moses... on the first day of the first month shalt thou set up The Tabernacle of The Tent of The Congregation.
And thou shalt put therein The Ark of The Testimony, and cover The Ark with The Vail... thou shalt bring in The Table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the Candlestick, and light the lamps thereof... thou shalt set The Altar of gold for the incense before The Ark of The Testimony, and put the hanging of the door to The Tabernacle... thou shalt set The Altar of the burnt offering before the door of The Tabernacle of The Tent of The Congregation... set the laver between the Tent of the Congregation and The Altar, and shalt put water therein... set up the Court round about, and hang up the hanging at The Court gate... take The Anointing Oil, and anoint the Tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all The Vessels thereof: and it shall be holy... anoint The Altar of the burnt offering, and all his Vessels, and sanctify The Altar: and it shall be an Altar Most Holy... anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it... bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of The Tabernacle of The Congregation, and wash them with water... put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats... thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations... And he set The Bread in order upon it before YHWH; as YHWH had commanded Moses... he put the Candlestick in the Tent of the Congregation, over against the Table, on the side of the Tabernacle... And he lighted the lamps before YHWH; as YHWH commanded Moses. And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat: When they went into the Tent of The Congregation, and when they came near unto The Altar, they washed; as YHWH commanded Moses. And he reared up The Court round about the Tabernacle and the Altar, and set up the hanging of the Court gate. So Moses finished the work.
Then a cloud covered the Tent of The Congregation, and the Glory of YHWH filled the Tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter into the Tent of The Congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the Glory of YHWH filled the Tabernacle.
For the cloud of YHWH was upon the Yabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
John 2 And the Jews' Passover was at hand, and YaHushua went up to Jerusalem, And found in the Temple (Tabernacle) those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting... And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the Temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not My Father's house an house of merchandise. And His disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten Me up.
YAHUSHUA answered and said unto them, Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this Temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But He spake of the Temple of His body.
      Rev 11 Rev 13:6 Rev 15:5, 8 Rev 21:3
...Rise, and measure the temple of YHWH, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not... candlesticks standing before the YHWH of the earth. And the temple of YHWH was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His Testament...
...to blaspheme His Name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints...
...and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: And the temple was filled with smoke from the Glory of YHWH, and from His Power; and no man was able to enter into the temple...
...Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and YHWH Himself shall be with them, and be their YHWH.

God bless you brother. I enjoyed your presentation and I fully agree with the assembly translation of eklesia. If you allow me I would like to add few observations and excuse me English as is not my first language:
    - in the bible the first time eklesia is used is not in Matthew but in the Old testament (septuaginta translation). The scholars that translated the hebrew bible to greek (around 300 BC) used the word "eklesia" and "synagogue" to translate the hebrew word "qahal" used for the assembly of Israel or assembly of people of god etc. So I believe that in biblical context the best place to search for the true meaning of the word eklesia (both theologically and etymologically) is in the way in which the word "qahal" is used in the Old Testament. The scholars used the best greek words to translate "qahal", a d if we want to see the true meaning we need to go the the word they tried to translate and not to the translation (is like trying to study an' object in detail analyzing its shadow)
    - in Matthew 16 Jesus didn't use the word "eklesia" as he didn't speak in greek to the disciples but in hebrew. So most probably Jesus used the old testament hebrew word for assembly "qahal" as a declaration of His divinity: He is the Lord of the assembly of Israel.. and His assembly will be built on Him as an announcement of the new covenant. Later when His words were translated to greek the same word was chosen as Septuaginta translation "eklesia". Also the fact that Jesus used the same word used in OT to refer to the assembly of Israel it shows the continuity of the people of God from one covenant to the next, being the same God and the same assembly (with new conditions to participate in).
    - i agree 100% that the translation with Church is profoundly wrong and misleading. The correct translation is "assembly" in continuity with the Old Testament assembly of Israel.

This is 100% true. The word church was never in the original text when you understand the message of the kingdom and the concept of kingdoms in general and what it actually means you will really understand the purpose of the church or shall I say ecclesia
Church is the ruling council for heaven on earth, we are the Senate on earth over seeing the earths affairs
Call Church an agency of the community of heaven on earth
So the church is a agency of the kingdom, is the administration of the kingdom on earth ,the church is a political body representing the government of heaven on earth ,the church is a government agency that’s why the Bible calls you Ambassadors !!!

Your videos are awesome bro! I especially enjoyed your logical breakdown of the ethics of abortion. My friends and I produce a small podcast on culture and politics from a Christian conservative/libertarian perspective, and if you're interested and ever have free time, we'd love to have you call/video call in and take part in some discussion. Like I said, just an offer, but either way, I appreciate your content and continue with the good work!

Just for a little more background, we are three, 19-23 y/o guys and our podcast is called The Civilized Age on soundcloud and iTunes. Also, we'd be happy to cross-promote and give shout-outs your content if you give ours a listen and think you'd be willing to do the same. We do that kind of thing on occasion, usually with the goal of getting some positive messages out to as many people as possible.

Ekklesia is not the same church. Ekklesia is the called out ones ( congregation of believers). Church is Kyriakon ( building of lord’s house). Matthew 16:18....l will build my Ekklesiav......from the Koine Greek-English NT bible. Ekklesia is Congregation or assembly.

I can't see that it is the first time. The standard Scriptures at the time was the Septuagint which is loaded with the usage of ekklesia.

"I have come to preach the good news of the Kingdom of God. That is why I have come," Jesus said. "When is this kingdom of God coming," they asked Him. "Don't look for the Kingdom to come with observation. The Kingdom of God is within you," Jesus explained. And yet, to this day most people, including most Christians, don't understand what the "Gospel" of Jesus Christ is. The GOOD NEWS is that THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS YOU!
The "church" is YOU. And when I say "you" I don't mean just "believers." I mean - GOD means - absolutely every human being that has lived or ever will live! And the "trick" to realizing your TRUE identity is ACCEPTANCE and FORGIVENESS. Acceptance and forgiveness of absolutely EVERYONE in light of the fact that ALL are God's children; God's sons. "Is it not written in your law, "I have said ye are gods?' " Jesus said, quoting the Psalm that says: "I have said ye are gods and all of you are children ("sons) of the most High." ALL of you, WITHOUT PREJUDICE, REGARDLESS OF STATUS OR BELIEFS.
"God will have all men to be saved and come unto knowledge of the truth." 1Timothy 2:3-4
But all of this won't make perfect sense to you until you know exactly what GOD is, exactly what YOU are, and exactly why you are experiencing this world of limitation.
I am a teacher and prophet of God; the prophesied return of Elijah. Yes, right here in Southeast Kansas. But you shouldn't believe that. You don't have good reason to. And blind faith is a dead end, "for if the blind lead the blind both will fall into the ditch." But if you are a seeker Truth will ring true to you, and you will give me a "click" and investigate.
I don't receive RUclips comment notifications so that I commune primarily with true seekers, who can easily find me....

Ekklesia and church are NOT the same. Church was a "replacement" and not a translation of Ekklesia in the New Testament when the KJV was translated. The KJV was heavily influenced by the State and State sponsored translators. Church is actually never mentioned once in the ORIGINAL New Testament. The KJV and all other versions are VERSIONS not the original.

City states - like tribes. Yeshua came for the lost tribes. He was RE-building his tribe, and restoring the promise he made to Abraham.
    -
Where any 2 or more are gathered, there is an assembly.
    -
What will really fry your noodle, is the rock wasn’t Jesus. He was sanding at the gates of hades, and was saying that death shall not prevail.

Basic misunderstand that I see an ecclesia vs church is a government versus a religion. The word ecclesia has to do with the government, which is with the Greeks gather together to take care of government business. A quick study of the word soul men 18 years old are summon and it will come together to discuss financials, lol military things to that nature, and they would take it back to their respective cities in Greek, which was under a monarch here by Cesar it was people who P a sign to go to other territories, to be governors of those territories to make sure that the practices in the laws of Rome were being carried out. So when Jesus says, upon this rock, I will build my ecclesia same on that statement and which you mean I will build my government i.e. my kingdom, and the forces of evil will not be able to stop it.

It’s clear that God doesn’t live in building made by hands or anything made by mens hands….
    Acts 17:24-25 KJV
[24] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; [25] Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; …
But for me the reason why The name church was added to scripture over “ekklesia” is the same reason why “ Charity “ was added over “ love” , to me this was a form of hijack from the people of the day by the rulers, as if to to say “ we are the stewards of God, come to us if you want to live” and if your family has died and gone to hell, come to us we will bail them out if you give us lots of money” ( purgatory) for me “ the called out of “ means the called out of darkness. Peace👍🏻

WRONG. “Circe” has evolved into a “Church.” Search “ancient Circe Worship.” -Before Christ was double round buildings made to worship the goddess of sexual fertility. In the Latin “Circe” The goddess of sexual fertility, circles and round things (A place of pagan worship made in double round buildings to the pagan goddess Circe (made with the “Apse.”) Take very careful note of the “Apse” of “Circe.” Look at the first double round shrines of “Circe” made with the apse still exist to this day in Istanbul Turkey, made for Christians by the Roman emperor Constantine.
