Its always good to watch a classic movie for the first time!

Fantastic edition Keith and put together very well .Nice touch with the postcards as well (including set designs of Ricks Cafe). Looks amazing and you’re in for a treat ,it truly is a classic . Definitely picking this up as well as the Psycho edition ,early Christmas treat 😁

This is the best release I've seen of Casablanca, there are a few versions out there but this is by far the best 👌 great to hear its got a stunning transfer! The HMV exclusive blu ray (4k remaster) was VERY nice, so I can imagine this being 👌👌👌Casablanca has always had great poster art!! Stylish steelbook 😁 excellent unboxing Keith 🤩🤩👍👍
It's weird John because I've been told by a few people that there has been some very nice collectors releases for Casablanca but I've never come across one until now. The 4K transfer is stunning and it might be one of the best black and white 4K transfers you will likely see. I think you will appreciate this one John especially if you are a fan of the movie. Another classic that I haven't seen. I should probably add that to my collection as well
While you say the weakest of the collector's Editions Lenny but as you pointed out this comes with a 4K disc and it's by far the best the movie has ever looked hence it's probably the best edition to own of it. I'm sure there is some nice collectors sets out there for this movie but this is the only one I want in all fairness. I love everything you get with it I think the Steelbook is fantastic and it's loaded with special features as well. I couldn't ask for more

cracking video Keith, im on the fence whether to get this or the standard release, its a classic all time great movie but make sure you watch with the other half, its a fascinating watch but I find that men and women see a different movie!!! hearing you say as a collector you had to have this reminded me, did you ever get the superb Citizen Kane anniversary release? I have watched it 3 or 4 times now and its rapidly becoming my go to b&w movie to show people how amazing they are on 4k!!
Hey Mark. Honestly I think it's a remarkable looking edition from Warner Brothers and if you're a fan of this movie I reckon you owe it to yourself to pick this one up. The 4K transfer is absolutely stunning and I haven't picked up Citizen Kane yet so I really can't compare them. But I definitely put this ahead of psycho when it comes to its picture quality. I'm just waiting for the right time to pick up Citizen Kane.

Like I said in the video John I watched around 20 minutes of it and I loved every minute of them 20 minutes and it's one of them movies that I know I'm going to love. I love the opening music, it's Bertysolo - Delicate Attention, I have it on my phone, it's so relaxing , great choice, Play it again Sam, I mean, Keith. I don't really remember much about this movie, my mother used to watch it when I was a kid. By the sounds of it, it's a beautiul transfer. The boxset looks amazing, you will have to let me know how good this movie is, I trust your judgement as we have very similar taste.
I'm hoping to watch it this weekend Gary and I will let you know what I thought of it. Somethings telling me I'm really going to enjoy this one and the 4K transfer honestly is remarkable. Warner Brothers have done such an amazing job on this release as well and I cannot wait to see what they come out with next. There is four releases so far for the vault collection. Blade Runner, 1947, Scarface and Goodfellas. Check them out on Amazon and see what you think Gary.

Hey Shaun. There is a massive rumour that the Exorcist is going to be the next big Warner Brothers release on 4k. I think next year is the 50th anniversary of it and I'm sure something is going to happen.

This is one classic film that has never really appealed to me to watch.

Just heard that the BFI boxset of Watership down has been cancelled, which is a massive shame as I pre-ordered it months ago & was looking forward to your take on the boxset in February.
I was the exact same Chay. Didn't really have any interest in watching this movie up until It got announced on 4K and I just said to myself it's happening now. I actually watch it a couple of nights ago and I thought it was phenomenal. Can't believe I left it for this long to see this masterpiece. That's a shame to hear about Watership Down. I wonder why it got cancelled.
Hopefully there will be a 4k release of the Cain Mutiny. There's something about it where you really cant stop watching it as its just intriguing despite only the last 20 minutes being about the court marshal.
I never heard of that movie if I'm completely honest. But rest assure I will check out a trailer for it and see what I think. Thanks for the recommendation

Is the dialogue clear and audible? My Bluray is mixed really low and the sound has to be seriously cranked up.
Hey Paul. Absolutely no issues at all on my end when it comes to the audio. I'm almost certain it did get a brand new audio mix for this release.
@@millerman9991 Cheers Keith! That will be a definitive upgrade then. There's nothing worse than poor sound. Even worse than poor picture quality, in my opinion.

Hey Alexander. I watched this around 3 days after doing the video and surprise surprise I thought it was a masterpiece. It's a shame I've left it this long to watch it and it looks stunning on 4k. Great to hear that you got it through the door. The Steelbook is simplistic but I think it suits the movie.
