This song truly shows what love is. Love isn't something that only exists when it's shared between two people. It's inevitable, and you can't run from it. You know it's real when you'd do anything for someone needing nothing in return.
I also like how this song doesn't sugarcoat love. It exposes both the good and the bad.
Sometimes, love gets to the point where it hurts you. Because you would give your life for someone who wouldn't give you a minute of their time.

People need to understand that when things don’t workout it’s not about “pick me” cause they may not, the secret to living is giving and it starts from within. Learning who you are and loving yourself first. What brings you joy and fulfillment? Focus on these things first, love will come along when you don’t look for it, this is true because when two people share the same energy, the two will attract. Look for someone to “fill the gaps” like they complete you. Don’t look four someone “to become”. It’s easier to be real then it is to live a life that’s “all show” life is about being yourself not about performing for others.

When I fall in love with someone, I care for them with everything I have, but it always ends with another crack through my heart. I don't know why I still try, but I can't seem to give up feeling this kind of love. I laugh and joke about it with my friends to let them think that I'm fine, but I still cry sometimes when I wake up from a dream that reminds me of them. It still aches when I see the texts I didn't bear to delete. It doesn't get washed away by the rain, nor does it disperse with the rising of the sun. I just want to share my story. I fell in love with this person. Sabihin na natin na na love at first sight ako. We're 1st year high school that time at nakuha talaga niya ng atensiyon ko. Bukod sa gwapo siya, Matalino at matiyagang tao. Mas iniisip niya ng pamilya niya kaya wala siyang panahon sa pakikipagrelasyon though mahilig sa fling. Every year hanggang grumaduate kami ng highschool, everytime na kumakanta ako sa singing contest sa school namin, sa tapat ng madaming estudyante at guro, lagi niya akong nilalagyan ng bulaklak sa tainga. Umabot abot na sa puntong nalaman niya na may gusto ako sa kanya dahil lang sa truth or dare na ginawa namin ng mga kaklase ko. Honestly, hindi ko siya gustong maging boyfriend o anoman. What I want is him to be my man in the future dahil maniwala kayo sa hindi, kahit bata pa ako noon, 16 years old. Nakita ko na ang future ko kasama siya. But sadly, we became awkward to each other, he suddenly ignored me at tanggap ko na hanggang doon nalang 'yon. Na hindi niya ako kayang mahalin tulad ng pagmamahal na inaalay ko sa kanya. Dumaan ang 2 years, we talked about how childish we are, kung bakit hindi na kami nagpansinan and we both say sorry to each other. 6 years passed at doon ko lang natanggap na hindi siya para sa akin. Pinalaya ko siya kahit naman talaga siya naging akin. When I saw him having so much fun with his girl, sabi ko sa sarili ko, "He's happy now. His happiness is my happiness too. I should let him and this feelings go."
But God exist, Kahit tanggap ko na ang lahat, If ever na maging kami in the future, I will accept him. Kasi ang rason kung bakit ko siya pinalaya ay dahil sa Panginoon. If we are meant to each other, kami talaga. At kung hindi naman, accept it.

I love this song so much but it reminds me of the toxic relationship I was in for a year and a half...I was so miserable and spent almost every night crying my eyes out but because I “loved” him I stayed even though he hurt me so much....I’m just glad it’s all over now and the guy I’m with treats me with more respect than my ex ever did and I love him so much for it and I’ll never take him for granted 🥺😭💗💗

And as a ballroom dancer I can agree with this. Dancing is the language of the soul, it defines how you feel from the music playing, as you move to the beat, and the tempo. If you are dancing without music, it goes from feeling strong emotions and communicating them, to just remembering a routine, which doesn't inspire creativity or independence. If you are in love with someone who does not reciprocate, or they drag you along for an extended period of time, you do not receive the feelings of trust and compromise, the things that make up a good relationship. The love is not returned and it's as if you're responding to the love that does not exist from them, similar to how you are responding to the music that isn't there when you dance like that.
This is a strong message that tells us not to continue to practice the routine, but to focus on finding music to play first to make the experience all the better. Instead of continuing to love someone who does not care about you, instead try to find somebody who feels the same way about you, to provide the important communication that builds up a relationship.
