I've watched numerous videos on this topic from seemingly established channels/agencies. Thus far, it's been recommended I begin my account by optimizing for clicks with no bid limit, optimizing for clicks with a bid limit, optimizing for conversions, and now...manual CPC. Your reasoning makes sense, but everyone else made sense too.
honestly every account is slightly different as there are different traffic volumes and conversion rates. -You will just need to test and monitor to find what works for your account.
Great video. I was running search camp for service base business initially i got enough clicks and conversions but after few days it starts saying "Limited by bid strategy". Also my CPC increased on 20$ but it was on 5$ when i was getting good results. Please tell me what's the solution and how can I fix it?
I'm facing a similar problem. I was getting fairly good results with manual CPC, but then changed to max clicks based on some tips on YT. I feel my campaign (low budget, low volume) became "dumber" using max clicks , and probably more expensive. After watching this video, I'm turning back to manual CPC to collect enough data and then switch to max conversions. Fingers crossed!
Hi, I set up a new Search Campaign with 27.68 per day, what CPA do you recommend ?Google is recommended me to set CPA for 1,68 pounds , that is too low, right? I mention that in my previous campaign i used CPC and maximise Conversion. Thank you so much. Reply
Hi I'm, I am running a service based campaign for my client and I am having issues with the maximize conversion bid strategy. My average CPC is €2.50, but suddenly the campaign is spending €23.50 for one click for Sam keyword. What could be causing this? And I’m running this campaign for last 2 months.
the campaign may not have enough data for the cpc to be stable. even though you've been running the campaign for 2 months, ideally you want 30 conversions in a 30 day period for there to be enough data

really informative mam... you've taught one of the most important things in Google ads in a very simple and Suttle manner
Thank you
You can still set a max CPC on Tcpa bidding if you set it up through a portfolio bidding strategy.
