Thank you very much!
Ohhh my favorite..Labradorite. The SUNSTONEs are very pretty
Yes! Thank you!
Can u please Show us how to find opal in lightning Ridge?
Been to lightning ridge many years ago but did not film it coz it was 45°Celcius and my brain got cooked and never been back there since. Got a Coober Pedy video in the pipeline...
The Sunstones here in Oregon are just as beautiful. I wasn't aware they were called labradorite until recently. Ours is found in sand though.
The ones I find in Oregon, here in the United States, has copper flakes in them. I find some that are green, red and the light champagne ones, like yours.
Beautiful treasure today! ^_^
Thank you!
Ooh another fun adventure for Pedro! Beautiful gems as well!
Thank you!
Have you ever thought of having small groups come over with you and Wally to rockhound in Australia?Don't know when it would be possible,But it would be so cool to go with you guys to some of your areas!
We occasionally allow close friends to accompany us on some of our trips but don't allow general public because of the hassles involved with insurance and the like.
Another cool collecting video.
Thanks Fiona. Hope you got some inspiration from that.
@@LizKreate inspired and made me very covetous. I no longer have the mobility to undertake such trips, but I wish with all my heart that I did. Whenever I feel really house bound I watch one of your trips and feel the excitement.
Would you please show us some jewelry that you made? And do you sell any?
I have a lot of video tutorial and videos of the jewelries that I made Judith. Below is one of the video and also the link to the playlist containing a whole lot of videos. And I don't sell at the moment. Cheers, Liz

Hello
Beautiful!
Do you cut stones into cabochon or faceted?
Do you have a shop? Where do you sell your creations?
Thanks

I cut and make jewelries but haven't found the time lately. At the moment, I'm not selling but will eventually set up another website since my last one got hijacked. Thanks for watching. Cheers

Thanks for watching and glad to know that the kids love rock hounding too. Take care and stay healthy. Cheers, Liz
Man I don’t feel like there’s much of anything cool in Texas other than agate and llanite

Vero Noice indeed. Thanks for watching Mate.
Wow that's quite a haul Liz, it was a good trip that one. You have a good eye for finding them. They look very pretty cleaned up.
Very pretty. Can you drill holes through them to make beads?
Yes you can. I sound like a campaign slogan...Thanks for watching Debie.
So glad you guys were able to get out and about again! Hurrah! I laughed at the end, I do the same thing with my haul of shells or sharks teeth when I get back home. I paw through them especially with the teeth, I love the sound they make. But I think that’s the longest I’ve not heard you talk! To busy listening to the song of treasure! Lol stay safe!
Hahaha.... I thought one of you will say that. Thanks Nancy.
Once exposed to sunlight it fades...really you should dig for them...stay out of sunlight...you might find red..green...combos and schiller which is the shiny streaks....
Hi Sharon, Been told by an old prospector and an overseas visitor/gem cutter that this particular sunstone does not fade when exposed to sunlight. Some of these will show light green once cut.
@@LizKreate Okay, so some types of sunstone are more stable, just like some types of opal are more stable? That makes sense. Beautiful! They remind me of Jolly Ranchers!
@@LizKreate good to know.
I always enjoy your gemstone videos.
Thanks James.
Plush/Adel oregon we have a graat aeea. I've got a bunch of pink schiller, rainbow, canary, white, champagne ish etc frow our free arsa. Some i have are huge! They close to diamond in hardness so perfect for ne. Im rough with my hands lll.
Lab-ra-dor-ite Love LIz's enthusiasm.

Beautiful. The Sunstone here in USA is a bit more on the darker, golden orange color than yours. I love Labradorite; it comes in so many colors and the way it sparkles after faceting is just beyond stellar.
I haven't had a chance to cut one yet but have seen cut ones and they have the most delicious green and yellow tone. Thanks for watching.
Awesome adventure sweet score sure got some nice pieces love the excitement thank you
Glad you enjoyed it Miles.

P.S. Pedro is the best TREASURE you can have!
He sure is.
Wow! Just beautiful!

Lovely. I love your excitement. I had always wanted to visit you area overseas. But now I have 3.5 (Masticiyic) and Lymphededic Cancer.
Oh Betty...That's no good. I will be praying for you and hope you get better.
Hi Betty !
I've been there. I've used Arimidex exemestane for 14 years, which has kept me alive.
Perhaps you can too. Keep in mind that whatever the onchologists say about life expectancy, is based on statistics. Other people's cancer. Not yours. Try to prove them wrong ! Please borrow my mantra ; " I'M A SURVIVOR. I WILL SURVIVE !" Dont give up !
Read the Lancet. To find out all about the latest treatments. Ask your ancestral spirits for help.
I did when I was told in 2004 to prepare for the end. It worked.
There's a war going on inside you, and I want you to win it !!! 🤗
Love from Norway 💖💖💖
Wow, what a wonderful haul!
Thank you! 😊Thanks for watching. Cheers, Liz
Are they on the harder side?
They're quite soft compared to quartz.
thank you Liz
You're most welcome Howie and thanks for watching. Cheers
Very happy to see you again! Thanks I will like to see the stones when cut. nice vid! Thanks.

@@garank4971 I will upload some more Pedro videos soon.
@@LizKreate yeaaaaaah
Okay here we go. I love rocks too!!!!!
We don't have a lot of gemstones here, but in my yardand our surrounding property there are amazing rock formations, stone walls that colonial settlers built and right now my project is gathering stones for my border of my outside sempervivum garden for next year. There's a lot of Mica, which is that paper thin mineral that makes the rocks shiny. There's a lot of granite. So every day for the past couple of weeks I have been out around the yard doing my yard work and getting beautiful beautiful rocks. I decided to stick with a grey color. I absolutely love watching your mining expeditions 😉
Ohhh....Mica....Granite....Sounds like my kind a place...
@@LizKreate I just love the sparkles!!! My mother thinks I'm nuts because every timeI go down on the property to dump a load of leaves or trees or brush that I've cleared I come back with a tractor full of rocks LOL 🤣
It's just something so spiritual when some can see beauty where others see nothing ❤️
Hi Liz, nice to see another of your and Wals adventures in the field. I would love to get to that area in the future and find some of those great looking pieces. Love the video and even though Wal seemed quite quiet,, probably concentrating on the stones. Hope to see more of your adventures on this trip. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
He was making a lot of ruckus while I'm filming because he wanted me to sieve where he was. So I chopped off most of his clips...LOL Glad you enjoyed the video.
So long as it was his video clips that got the chop and nothing else, 😅
HAI LIZ!
Helloo there! Thanks for watching.
It's pronounced "lab-rah-door-ITE", with most of the accent on the last syllable. You say the first three syllables quickly.
Thanks for watching Jeannie. Just to let you know that English is my second/third language. Your comment is so insignificant in the context of this video. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers, Liz
@@LizKreate If you are going to be an expert on gemstones, you need to pronounce them properly. Merry Christmas to you too.
@@jeanniemainzer8551 I have NEVER EVER claimed to be an expert on gemstones. I'm a mere hobbyist that love sharing my experience and knowledge gained over the decades so that others can enjoy this great hobby. If all you're concerned about is grammar and pronunciation, then maybe this is not the best channel for you to view. Cheers, Liz
You’re so much fun to watch, I love the energy you have!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. Cheers
