Mechanically EC is a far better car with a much reliable turbo than other competition, without unnecessary electronics that can break easily. Someone who is spending 50+ lacs, should get a car that's reliable, breaks as good as accelerates. It's well built body and frame, drivability is great with sharp and accurate steering. EC has Strut bar setup from factory, therefore handling is great. The gear response is amazing, specially when you go manumatic and downshift.

No compromise in leg space. More than adequate comfortable seating in rear seats. I am 6 feet tall and my EC is self driven. If I keep driver seat at my driving position (the furthest back), I can sit in on rear passenger seats very very comfortably without any compromise of space and comfort. Those who are skeptical about rear seat space, should check out the car at the showroom for real.
54 lacs is way too much for a dated car like this. The interior is just too dull for 2023. Tucson BD made for 53.5 is far better deal. Looks good inside and out.
Comparing a Entirely Japan made vehicle to an over engineered bd assembled one is never a good comparison. Hyundai is making 'apparently' good looking cars but reliability is still a question for the brand (search for Hyundai Sonata engine issue history).
