- Bachelor Nation's Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay are calling it quits. Bryan, 43, has filed for divorce from Rachel, 38, after four years of marriage due to "irreconcilable differences," according to court documents obtained by multiple outlets. On Jan. 2, Bryan confirmed their split with a post on Instagram. "After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I'm a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps. Respectfully, Brian," he wrote. As of Jan. 2, Rachel has not publicly spoken out about their divorce. The pair met on Rachel's season of "The Bachelorette" in 2017 and then tied the knot in Aug. 2019.

She’s a workaholic and he’s not. She’s fast paced and he takes his time. He left his whole life (chiropractic clinic and family) in Miami to be with her in LA. They both wanted to start a family but couldn’t and had been trying for a while. Sometimes love ain’t enough.

Yep I saw that too. Peter wasnt into her so she grabbed the one who was willing to propose. Bryan put on an act to increase his career and wallets. Even how he holds her and gives her a quick kiss for the cameras seem non genuine.
This was just dating, but the pressure from TV made it speed into a marriage.
Not surprised. I don't follow them, but every time I have watched her on the podcast with Van Lathan, she always responds to people in the comments saying she's never with her husband.

@@marriejames01that must’ve been when she was on Nick Viall’s podcast a few weeks ago on Dec 21. I’m assuming she was attempting to steer the conversation away from the already existing rumor that a couple in Bachelor Nation was about to announce its divorce. If the decision wasn’t actually final at that point who knows what happened over the next 10 days.
When they first got engaged she said he wanted 3 children and she wanted 4. She sounded so excited for that. Unfortunately I think the idea of fame and getting celebrity jobs got to her and she put it off too long and now she had fertility issues 😢
I am so devastated! They were the one couple I believe in so much. This hits hard. I have looked up to Rachel since I was 21. I am 25 now.

Who didn't see THIS coming? Rachel was sooo "heck bent" on being apart of that "Hollywood crowd", it was everything to her. Bryan didn't seem to like the public exposure AT ALL. Rachel is a lawyer for goodness sake. Why in the world would she choose"fluff news" OVER doing something meaningful? She did an interview with Nick Viall and the interview was too "intrusive" for Bryan, as her husband. In my opinion. She and Nick seems to STILL have something between them. I don't know.

@bienfaitmboni I agree with your statement about Rachel. She is a very smart woman, and sometimes overly aggressive in her outlook on various issues. I thought that they would balance each other ultimately. It’s sad. However, I was surprised to hear that he has filed for spousal support. Maybe that was because he uprooted his life in Miami to join her in L.A. I rooted for them, hoping they would have a long happy marriage.

Rachel should have had a child all these years, she wanted money & career. She lose a handsome good man. Byran wanted children, a family, but Rachel is a stubborn woman that want things her way. What a pity the marriage did not go well. Lovely couple though. Wasted 4 or 6 yrs. all the money wasted on the wedding.

A lot of times you're dealing with racist family members or they just can't deal with how the other is demographically. I've never seen a mixed couple last. Not saying it can't happen! According to statistic it says that black women last longer in interracial relationships than black men in interracial relationships. I’m not bashing black men bcs i wholeheartedly respect them. I’ve seen a lot of black marriages that last long as well, so it’s not about race. Rachel and Byron are prob not meant to be. If they are meant to be then they will find their way back into each others lives again.
