Both video and song are nailing the early 90's aesthetic. Stylistically it's pretty much bang on for blur's early stuff.

Well I'd argue that her deadpan delivery is a fairly significant part of her songs. Especially relevant since the somewhat dark themes juxtapose strongly with the indifference of the delivery, which also fits well the overarching theme of emotional unavailability and isation that runs through a lot of her music.
Sonically, her arrangements are generally rather unusual and add a great element of interest that helps offset the potential that her deadpan delivery might have to bore the listener (typically accustomed to seeing music "acted out" more naturalistically).
The rather unusual chord changes allow her to craft equally unusual melodies, which add an ethereal, fantastical element to the dark themes that are so atypical to mainstream music industry perspectives.
I'd say she's pretty critically strong.
