    One failing high school, Phillis Wheatley HS, requires the whole ISD to take over? Is that really the rule? HISD has a "B" rating including the failing HS, that seems really rough - I kind of want to know about school districts that are below B - this appears to be political.

    he will fail. teacher shortage. he didnt mention low performing parents and children.

    This is really sad😢 This has nothing to do with the children and their needs in HISD... THIS IS ABOUT CONTROL & MONEY!!!

      Yes...the control that was had by the former gang and the money they were stealing

      No, it’s definitely about helping educate the city, one with increasing crime, higher drop-out rates, and worse testing scores.
