Na they probably communicating with eachother and it’s calm because of that, but yea if any person walked within 10feet of those geese they’d hiss at us and get mad. They talking it out tho.
thats the thing though, geese hiss and dont do much else in terms of defense, if you're lucky you might have one bat its wings but other then that they have nothing.
Sandhill Cranes are herbivores mainly. I don't ever recall seeing one eating goslings. Frogs, mice, newts, and such but I would think goslings are a bit big. This one was probably just curious and the Canadians know it.
@@williamli8708 Like I said. Mainly herbivores but eat smaller animals. They eat grains and plants but will eat meat if the opportunity arises. Still think goslings are far too big for them. Cranes and Herons are different. Herons are probably what you are thinking of when you think of a mainly carnivorous stork.
The geese were creating a spirit bomb you can see the communication going on between them had that crane pushed harder they would of stormed him with aggression lol
Its because an other goose was there so they have two threatens that's why they didn't fight because if they fight crane the babies they would be left unprotected
What the hell can I increase will attack people for just walking from their car to wherever else they have to be and be attacked and they don't want to try to get at this crane the same way maybe the sandhill crane would beat their ass if they tried to retaliate like they do with people and they know they can do that with people
I see similar Cranes at my local park and throw dirt balls at them when they start creeping around goslings and ducklings. No harm done to the big birds either, just a fair warning to scram!
The most passive Canada geese parents I've ever seen.

0:29 The geese's sudden movement matches up with the people's gasp. xD
This comment needs to be pinned 😆
I’m very surprised the geese were not more aggressive… when people are around them they hiss constantly.

"take those poor little babies away from the pokey bird" I almost died! 🤣
😆😆😆

I'm really surprised the Male Goose let the Crane get that close to his chicks!!
He already had enough mouths to feed, he didn't care lol

aren't cranes purely carnivorous? like fish and things
Aka an omnivore?
@@elmertime turns out they are omnivorous

... Sandhills cranes will eat whatever you have ... but they do not like popcorn ...
Love how the parent geese are standing behind the babies as though they are using them as a shield against the crane
I was touched by the beautiful video.Always stay healthy.
That sandhill was no threat and the geese knew it. A great blue heron would have grabbed and swallowed all those hatchlings before the day was over.
0:29 Parent Goose: WTF was that?
I like when a Canada goose bend his head downward, and it is about to attack any interlopers who are bothering their goslings.
Those geese really aren't on their game eh?
“Why am i eating insets all day when there’s a 9 piece McNuggets right in front of me?” 😂
So beautiful scene Ducks and crane to gather
“He wants to poke em”
No he wants to swallow them whole
sounds like the crowd was Canadian too!
Cranes are vicious predators. Im surpised the geese don't chase them away.
Yes weak effort especially for canada geese.
Cute duckling ruclips.net/video/v2zTucwxA9o/видео.html
The crane probably needed a quick jab to realise that this is not his kinda food.
Surprised to see calm geese however.
Cranes often feed in grain fields with Canada Geese.
The parents must have thought they were in a Disney movie.
Frickin' Canada Geese? I was rooting for the Sandhill Crane...
Why are those geeses so passive? Why they arent hoonking and attacking the crane? Something is wrong here.
Nice wow
Geese know the crane doesn’t have the balls to try
Those parents have 0 courage. It's almost like they were using their kids as a shield 🤦🏻♂️
Really so beautiful
Geese when u try to cross the street 🤬😡👿
Geese when pokey bird attacks goslings 🛏😴💤
Nice video

Lucu lucu anak angsa nya
Sand Hill cranes are very mean 🐦s. Just like geese.
Its because an other goose was there so they have two threatens that's why they didn't fight because if they fight crane the babies they would be left unprotected
That Canadian Goose can easily fuck up that crane
The geese aren’t threatened by the crane because they know he doesn’t want to eat them, just pick on them.
must be a new Dad....
the crane is lucky they didn't attack it and the geese are lucky the crane was able to get a few nibbles of the gosling instead of snatching it.
Nice
What does a Crane need to do to get some good damn chicken nuggets
Show 🙏🏻 like garantido 🙏🏻
Imagine barely registering as a threat
ruclips.net/video/bLgRLxQCvsU/видео.html ..
this was hardly an "attack" lol that crane knew after the first pinch he wasn't gonna get out without wasting a ton of energy.
Gd
Lucky for the goosling it was not a heron!

people will see they kids get kid napped and just sit there and record man this generation
Cute ducks
Brilliant
We need more cranes.

❤️❤️❤️
Club Atlético Belgrano de Córdoba Argentina.....
Like WTF, I'm sitting here and waiting for these loser parents to do something, they were acting like the damn crane was a part of the group! 😤😤😤
Why no?
Eu sabia...as aves não comem umas as outras...agora estoi vendo que vídeos mostrando aves comendo as outras é uma montagem descarada
That accent 🤣
Most coward parents ever
The crane is a dangerous predator .
He could have made off with one of the chicks if he wanted to.
But he knew he was too close to the adults.
Cranes need to eat stop being super Karen's and Chad's
gosling

I hate candian geese they shit everywhere and ruin every body of water. Wish they were not protected.
