The situation is burdensome and young moms receive varying level of support. Less than 2% of teen moms earn a degree before they turn 30 and that’s reflective of how difficult college is with a young child.

@@gothmajesty1976 children are NOT burdens. people shouldn't have a child if they do not have the patience or time for them. if they have neither but have a child anyways thats on the parent. if a parent says their child(ren) is a burden, that's also on them because they are the ones that brought that child into this world (excluding forced pregnancies).

@@ashleyyyy6191 Children can both be a burden and a gift it just depends on the person and their situation and that isn’t a crime to say. I’m 17 and if I was to get pregnant right now 100% I would see that as a burden and run my ass to a clinic real quick cause I'm too young to have kids. I want to have the full college experience, travel, and live out the rest of my youth without having to cater to someone else’s also pregnancy terrifies me. I will agree however that if you are a parent and are raising a child it’s wrong to refer to your children as a burden cause their existence isn’t their fault and there was plenty of time in which you could’ve backed out either by aborting them or giving them up.

@@f_u_love8424 yea i see what you mean. i can see that you're aware of how children would prevent you from doing what you want to do so this doesn't apply to you but people should be more responsible when they have a child. children are a huge responsibility and so the plans people have in the future should be taken into account so they are aware of how children will 'effect' their life. rather than conceiving a child and seeing them as a burden when they are born, people need to be more responsible and look more into whether they want to have a child or not. its not the childs fault they were born, its the parents

Is stressful to does who don’t remember they were also one
meaning enjoy to help grow up ur child’s no matter what they do teach them with kindness and respect an all will be ok
If u tried only to impose rules without let them grow isn’t good just show them what can do or no can’t do
When they are small they will listen more than when are getting adult and that is the time to teach in the right way
and more important always to check what they doing at school or outside home bc in that way they can’t be blind to reality (use by shit news and fake by democrats agenda homosexuals or anti democracy or pro abortion or been abuse or bullying)
just be a father or mother or grandparents
      child are a blessing
and been human is a blessing

Plenty of people do this every single day.
Yall only think uts hard because we've become such a soft country.
Sounds like yall have no idea how many young, single Mothers who were in college with me.
People have been telling us that we can't do it alone and we need govt help and blah, blah, blah... but they only do that because they don't want us to know just how strong and resilient we actually are.
They want us to set our sights lower and feel like oppressed victims.
Well, I did it. (This girl was still in high school so most likely she had her parents to help but my situation was a little different. )
Anyone can do it if they want to.
(It would've been great if I my birth control didn't always fail but it did and here we are).
Granted, I was in HS (16 when I got pregnant) but I buckled down and graduated early.
3 days later, I started college classes.
I got my EMT license in 8 months.
Then went back and got my RN at 24.
      I had 3 kids.
      My babies are 22, 18, and 14.
      I'm still in my 30s.

This girl lived at home with her parents.
She was graduating from an alternative HS graduation.
(This is usually a computer/internet based school option for teen mothers and delinquents who have truancy or behavioral issues.)
My guess is she probably didn't have alot to do with her kid because of this video.
She's the type to want attention.
She brings her kid out for attention and pity whenever it's convenient but I bet she usually leaves him with her parents to go out and she doesn't give him a 2nd thought.
I've seen so many other Moms like this and it makes me sick.
If she was an Involved mother?? She wouldn't let her baby disrupt the commencement ceremony.
She would've been glad to get a break and some acknowledgement of her own that day.

I am assuming that you made a lot of assumptions here. Is there another video or more information out there? Regarding a high-school graduation (doubt it by the look of the ceremony and way they are dressed.)
The part I will completely agree with, is that she had family helping her fully. If she has a supportive family, I can't be mad at her because I don't. Because of my trauma, it does annoy me when I hear how incredibly strong she is and started from the bottom, did it all on her own, blah blah blah. Similar to the girls you'd see on social media, always having hair &nails done, going to bars and concerts and they seem to only use their child as a photo prop.
I actually had a girl in my graduating class in high-school who was a teen mom. Her parents allowed her to move *out of state* so that she could enjoy the college experience. Her f*cking infant child stayed at home with her parents. During her 4 year degree, joining a sorority and visiting home on weekends and holiday breaks. THAT, is distasteful and I feel she will never have the right to say "Baby I worked so hard for you."
Again, it is no one else's fault that I experienced loads of childhood trauma, at 30, I am just learning to accept it, and seek therapy.
I am a single mom, I have a 4 y.o. daughter and it is just her & I. Thank God she recently started preschool but before that, it was just us together 24/7, I didn't get a break. I'm not lucky enough to have a good support system or any family. so hearing people claim the single mom line to get sympathy, or when the reality isn't what they try to portray.
Even with baby sitters, Financial help and a supportive loving family & good upbringing... she still was able to complete college, she deserves a lot of credit.

    • @fernandatellez102
      @fernandatellez102 Год назад

@@loosilu I agree to the fact that having a supporrtive family is of great help for a pregnant teen, but even some of those supprted pregnant teens make exsuses and wrong choices and end up being single mothers of 2 or 3 babies of different fathers sometimes. Personally I think, as I have witnessed, that being a mother destroys nothing. It may for sure complicate things, but that is not for being a mother but for making wrong decisions. There exist women who became pregnant in their teens, and managed to raise their kids as they worked and studied. as soon as their kid was old enough to go to public school as a way to keep him/her safe, they enrolled to college . And some have even attended college with their baby's on arms. Sure being a mother is not easy, and that is why we should all appreciate what our mom's did for us (little or much, only they know how difficult or what a burdden it was to accomplish that), but it is making bad choices and not being a mother what ruins everything not only education. Those thoughts just awake and nurture bad feelings and resentment againstr the child to be raised.
That is why there is an order and a time for everything.
And yes, teens who have a supportive family or group should be the most thankful. Regards.

I hope she had support from the baby’s father & family, while studying. It’s hard enough being a mother of a young child, let alone studying & having the challenges of everyday live as a Mum. She can be proud of being able to juggling both. Best of luck to her & her child.

I went through college raising 4 kids. They came and sat quietly many times while I would attend classes.

It's HARD going through college as a single person, huge props to doing it raising her son.
