Stupid act this is in certain aspects. A girl who is one day short of completing her 18 yrs elopes with his lover and has consent sex with him. Now POCSO case comes against the lover and he is punished for 10 years. Is it justiceable? It is my own case in kanyakumari district. A girl short of 10 days to coplete her 16 fell in deep love with a boy of 21 yrs and eloped with him and had sex with him for 3 days. The case was tried by the female judge and he was sentenced with 28 years, not even concurrent, it consecutive. Is it justiceable? For the little love affair, that too by the girl, this boy is to remain in jail upto his 50? It is bad law, requires lot of changes.

your argument is valid if the boy was also underage.... as the boy was an adult he should have acted like one.

Sir as per sect 357C crpc and 19 section of pocso and rule 6 it is mandatory to give free medical treatment to victim of sexual assault
