It was Aaron being promoted to SF Scientology Leader that ended Braille. Aaron purposely forced these guys out with less hours so he wouldn’t have to fire them.
Braille was one of the youtube channels that inspired me to get back into skating as an adult and actually start learning tricks this time around, so I definitely am grateful for some of their content like that. However, it is important to recognize that it's not okay for a company to make so much money and yet let their biggest employees struggle just to make rent and handling Carlos's and Fetty's case so poorly. That's my biggest gripe against them. Yeah, AK becoming the leader of Scientology in San Francisco is sus as hell, but if that was the only tick against them, I could live with it since he doesn't talk about it in his videos. TL;DR, one can enjoy their content while recognizing that shady stuff is happening behind the scenes. All the skaters from Braille are still great, the only member I'm disappointed in is Aaron who at one point I think was being a good company leader with good intentions with his employees but has now been failing the people that helped build his company to what it is today and that's why they are all leaving.

The recent content is actually decent, it is actual skating outside and having guests on. Gabes shitty ideas ruined it. Im not entirely sure how employment fair work standareds work in the states but in the interview in the interview Aaron did with Lamont it kind of sounded like casual wage rates and being casual, you dont have any job security . He said that they only got paid an hourly rate , yeah health insurance was an option but it got deducted from your wage, the guys paid for their own health insurance yet they would put their bodies on the line for..... 5 hrs of work a week as it stands with only filming one day a week and if you fucked yourself up doing a stupid stunt, how are you to pay for your health insurance if your not getting a wage because your not putting in the hrs ?? Just an FYI Ricky seems to be deleting questions about Scientology from his youtube comments. I pointed out that there is this general mistrust in everyone involved with Braille because of how many people from the company are proven to be involved and nobody knows who else might be. So it would in their best interest to address it in some way or it just looks sus. None of these people do that they just tiptoe around the topic. It's a massive red flag. I wasn't being rude or anything in my comment I was pretty polite in my question and it's been deleted.

Aaron says about uping quality of videos, not sure what to think about it so far. One 1 hand we get some uploads of stuff recorded before, then new videos while they do same stuff all over again and cherry on top that is literally recreating old videos, on the other hand its nice to see him going to skate parks again and actually interacting with community over there. But lets be honest, since everybody left they need to go out to find content.
One way or another Araron needs to learn that if he makes 1 video that is somehow popular (like wheel of misfortune), its ok to grind it in future, but not every single fucking week. Something that can be nice and refreshing and nice to watch over long period of time, gets stale really fast when hes trying to shove it up our throats every time he can.

Braille was one of the youtube channels that inspired me to get back into skating as an adult and actually start learning tricks this time around, so I definitely am grateful for some of their content like that. However, it is important to recognize that it's not okay for a company to make so much money and yet let their biggest employees struggle just to make rent and handling Carlos's and Fetty's case so poorly. That's my biggest gripe against them. Yeah, AK becoming the leader of Scientology in San Francisco is sus as hell, but if that was the only tick against them, I could live with it since he doesn't talk about it in his videos.
TL;DR, one can enjoy their content while recognizing that shady stuff is happening behind the scenes. All the skaters from Braille are still great, the only member I'm disappointed in is Aaron who at one point I think was being a good company leader with good intentions with his employees but has now been failing the people that helped build his company to what it is today and that's why they are all leaving.

The recent content is actually decent, it is actual skating outside and having guests on. Gabes shitty ideas ruined it. No hate to Gabe, he was really just trying to keep it together in the end but it was time for change. The best videos were actual skating, and meeting people, guests. Im not entirely sure how employment fair work standareds work in the states but in the interview in the interview Aaron did with Lamont it kind of sounded like casual wage rates and being casual, you dont have any job security .
He said that they only got paid an hourly rate , yeah health insurance was an option but it got deducted from your wage, the guys paid for their own health insurance yet they would put their bodies on the line for..... 5 hrs of work a week as it stands with only filming one day a week and if you fucked yourself up doing a stupid stunt, how are you to pay for your health insurance if your not getting a wage because your not putting in the hrs ?? That's sly!!

Just an FYI Ricky seems to be deleting questions about Scientology from his youtube comments. I pointed out that there is this general mistrust in everyone involved with Braille because of how many people from the company are proven to be involved and nobody knows who else might be. So it would in their best interest to address it in some way or it just looks sus. None of these people do that they just tiptoe around the topic. It's a massive red flag. I wasn't being rude or anything in my comment I was pretty polite in my question and it's been deleted.

The big problem there is Scientology goes after people who go against them especially if they were so close to involvement like working at a company run by Scientologists. Leah Remini, the actress, has talked about how hard it was to get out of the cult having grown up in it and has talked about the tactics they use to keep people quiet about shit. If you want to complain about fair wage, talk about the ones who take your money without say. Magically increase minimum wage to make it so they seem like they are trying to help make the cost of living easier by forcing companies to choose to raise prices or let employees go. Just so the companies can show a profit and survive. Everbody believes you need to keep increasing profits and no business can keep increasing profit. The same people who magically make up 1 dollars value is different then a pound or franc or fill in blank with magical value currency from your country.
