This (AT4X Acadia) make too much sense. Something that GM tends to miss in critical moments. Dont even like the Acadia due to its looks but this, absolutely a buy.
I would love to get my hands on the version of yours. AT4X built for the off-road nice clearance. I love the snorkel. GM. Having more vehicles such as this sends a message to the world that they're prepared to go ride at the competition.
Take out the 3rd row seating altogether and make it a really nice cargo area. Make the 2nd row chairs easily removable so as to create a continuation of said cargo space. Maybe lift the roof a couple of inches. I'd much rather sleep in the vehicle than on top of it.

My wife’s current vehicle is a 2021 Acadia AT4 and she wants a 4Runner instead, no joke. She would jump at this thing. Or even better a 3 row SUV version of a Canyon. Tough, overland style vehicles are all the rage and it’s sad that the only true options mid-size 3-row SUV options are 4Runners and Defenders.

This would be a nice Trim level, But unfortunately as a GM Worker I can tell you the possibility of this coming true is low as they would have to restructure the car and that would be too expensive for GM

Great looking concept. But isn't current Arcadia undergoing a revamp. Does the current Arcadia platform and driveyrain even have the capability to turn the asome proposed wheel package. Would love for GM to come out with a suv packaged like this.
That would be cool, but the Acadia doesn't have a strong reputation for reliability and I wonder if the body and power train would be strong enough to actually go off road. I don't want to take a wannabe off reader on the trails, just to windup walking out because the vehicle was ill equipped.
I own a 22 At4 Acadia. I am disappointed with the fact that it's not an offroader. The front bumper hangs extremely low for anything. It doesn't even have skid plates, not even plastic!I would most definitely get an At4X if it was offroad capable.
There is a micro switch that stops making the connection when you put it in park. Look it up on RUclips. From what I can tell, really easy to replace or even modify to work better. That is why I like the push/pull buttons on my 2022. No more issues with that.

The one thing my 2023 Acadia AT4 lacks is a two inch lift and skid plates, and yes, I would definitely buy one of these.

I like the looks. I bought my 2020 AT4 Sierra because of 2 things, 6.2L and lift. I settled for tire size and vehicle color.

I like the looks. I bought my 2020 AT4 for 2 reasons, 6.2L and lift. Settled for tire size and vehicle color.

It needs to be a clear competitor to jeep and Ford bronco. Maybe a diesel engine to suffice daily needs and mileage concerns, as well as torque.
Insane!! I received my AT4X In February and its really nice. With the desert sand metallic it stands out from any other GMC.
