The only, ONLY, reasonable use for Airblast in MVM is to either kill a giant healing robot the team is having problems with in the shredder (only if it walks up to or past that point). OR, to blow away medics that have already ubered so the team could damage the giant. Those situations are rare (especially with a competent team) but they are the only good things that it could be used for...I guess there's also airblasting bots away from the hatch as it's deploying or getting dangerously close or to blow a sentry buster away from a clueless engi, but again, rare occurrences that happen less with competent teammates.
It’s satisfying to reflect several crit rockets back at the enemy and they kill like several hundred soldiers XD
But it's the fact that a lot of Pyro instalockers in MVM overextends and dies just to try out airblast, and spam the airblast ends up harassing teammates' setups and aims.
M2 without a brain causes a lot of brain damage to teammates, better not do that
@@DEWILL I mostly just airblast those giant blackbox soldiers since I know whenever they fire after they reload, but yeah airblasting is somewhat situational in most maps in mvm unless it's in rottenburg or mannhattan because death pits.

My thoughts on airblast in MvM: Can be fun and occasionally might save the game if your teammates are too far and the giant has too much health, but should not be used exclusively, only as an additional option if neccesary.

airblast is only usefull against giants and bomb carriers when there a death pit THAT IT

Very true!! Honestly, its only real use is for resetting the bomb. It's super satisfying to airblast bots in death pits lmao
@@glaciere-sama3529 you can also use it for projectiles. Resetting the bomb is a bit of a gamble cause the carrier might end up being a boss or super scout.

To be fair, I also dont know what really makes it that bad, and would like that question answered
The only good thing about airblast upgrade is that it makes it easier to push giants into death pits. Upgrade does not effect projectiles, although deflecting projectiles from high damage soldiers can be fruitful, there is not really a point to airblasting in MvM unless you plan to launch a giant robot into a pit.

Dude, the first minute and forty seconds in the video you were being really condescending about air blasting and pyros in general.
Thats what happens when too many noobs pick a class and suck at it, Sniper has a similar stigma. Airblast spam is enraging and Pyro is pretty weak early game, so if you don't know how to play mvm pyro, you're gonna be dragging your team half the time. Dewill has every right to be condescending towards Pyros due to many bad experiences with bad Pyros.
