So nice to see a GunTuber acknowledging that packing oil is not the same as lubricating oil, and cleaning and lubricating your pricey new pistol before firing it.
One can usually get away with shooting a gun that has light oil on it from the factory, but not always. And some guns (Kimber in particular) are packed with a heavier oil that I wouldn't trust. Thanks for watching and adding your thoughts.
Great out of the box video. Loving the 45. Last week I got a Government 9mm, its amazing really smooth. Have put 300 rounds thru it and its awsome. I recommend the Bul Armory 1911 Government 9mm. I love it.
Thank you for watching and commenting. You did a couple nice reviews of the 9mm Hunter on your channel. Now, Bul needs to come out with the Hunter in 10mm.
Spoiler alert: First 100 rounds indoor dead center at 15 yards, a hair high and right at 23 yards - 1 click down and 1 left and I'm happy. What a shooter! I hope to get to my outdoor range Tuesday or Wednesday, and may even take it to our plate league Wednesday evening. More to come. (Did I mention that I really like this gun? And it does fit into my definition of "affordable".)
To quote Scorpio from *Dirty Harry*, “My, that’s a big one.” Very Nice! Speaking of MIM… I tried to sand my Colt King Cobra’s MIM trigger with 400 grit paper yesterday. The steel is VERY hard. I was eventually able to get the pebble grain removed from the surface, and used a felt wheel and polish to finish it. It’s been said that MIM is hardened better than a forged piece, and I’m becoming a believer. Thanks for Sharing! 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
So many guns to shoot and review, and so little time. I guess I'll have to spend more time with the Hunter, but that's not a problem, as I REALLY like shooting it. I'll make it a point to get a follow-up out this summer.
Another Bul Armory good job Rider. That is one beautiful 1911, I suspect the range review will prove that it is accurate and dependable. Been checking mid and se Mi for a 9 mm Bul or Magnum Research for a month unsuccessfully. If that came from ann arbor arms, I will have to take a drive out there. Been going between a SA-35 and 9 mm 1911, hoping to locate one soon (would love the mr or bul as my mr desert eagles are the most accurate 1911’s that I own). Great video as always sir. Can do!
Will, I ordered this from Oryx Arms. That's the only place I could find this model. Anyone can sign up with Oryx to be notified when a specific model becomes available. Ann Arbor Arms gets the Government and Commander models in on a fairly regular basis, but they sell just as fast as they come in. I believe you can get on their list, also.
By Sheer luck I got a Bul 9 mm about the same that you reviewed yours. I’ve decided that one can’t have too many jellybeans or 1911s. They’re both satisfying and very sweet.
@@RidersRange Thanks for the reply! I’d say that the Bul 9 mm is as good as a Springfield Range Officer or even a CZ Shadow 2. I’m a mediocre shot, but I hit better with those three better than with anything else. The Bul slide moves easier and slicker than them all.
Good morning Rider , I agree a ten mm would be great in this pistol. I'm not always a fan of the rail on a 1911 and could do without it on this model. Overall a really nice pistol and boxed well for a nice package. Thanks for sharing, Stay Strong 💪🙏🇺🇸
I'm not a rail fan, either. Once-upon-a-time, Bul had a 6" target model that was similar, but without the rail. I can't find that in the catalog anymore, so I got what I could get.
Thank you very much for watching, commenting and subscribing. Let me know if there is anything you would like to see me review. If I don't have it, I can try to get it.
hello from France Thanks for this video. Can you give me an advice fot the ammunitions to use with this handgun (use to shoot target at 25m) ? thanks for your answer. cheers
Thank you for watching from over in "The Country of Love". I use basic 230gr full metal jacket "ball" ammo from several different makers. I also have used Winchester T-Series 230gr hollow points. I'll be doing a follow-up range review in the very near future with shooting at 25 and 50 yards.
@@RidersRange There are no Bul guns on the hated roster. I’d copy a link, but RUclips doesn’t like that. Try googling California DOJ gun roster, or similar. The liberal Democratic intend is to ban ALL firearms from once great state.

My next handgun...thx for taking us along
The 6" Hunter is pretty hard to find. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for watching and commenting. I trust you will enjoy your Bul 9mm. Mine is rapidly becoming my favorite 9mm 1911.
I agree with the 10mm.
I'm watching and waiting.
Nice out-of-the-box review, very well done 👍.
Thank you for watching and commenting.
love unboxings, really like the bul, helpful info, thanks, cant wait for shooting.
First range trip and 100 rounds out the pipe. All I can say is "wow"! Thanks for watching.
I own the Hunter 6" in 9mm and truly enjoy every shot out of it. Great review of the 45 model!
Thank you for watching and commenting. You did a couple nice reviews of the 9mm Hunter on your channel. Now, Bul needs to come out with the Hunter in 10mm.
You come to the table with a lot of nice toys, Rider. Looking forward to watching you at the range.
I've had it to the indoor range, but I'm waiting for better weather to shoot it on my range. I hope I can have the range report our in a couple weeks.
You said exactly what I was thinking. I wish it was a 10mm. What a sweet gun though. Who doesn’t want a 6” 1911?

From what I've been finding, MIM done right can be stronger than forged and milled. I haven't had a MIM part break - yet.
Love it Rider. Great review. Music ans sound effects wete funny
Thank you once again for watching.
Very nice. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Once again, thank you for watching.
Awesome!!! ... thanks again Brother 😉👍👊🇺🇸

Is there an update on this 1911 in the works? I really enjoyed this review, but want to know your long term thoughts please.

I've love this in 10mm, would by 1911 number four for me and the third Bul Armory.

Spoiler alert - after just one trip to the range and 100 rounds, it shoots BETTER than it looks, if that's possible. Range report in the works.
@@RidersRange great I'll look forward to it

Are any Bul Armory guns on the California roster?

I need more money lol. My next 45 is this, or the trophy, or a Hk usp t. All different lol. Then maybe Dan Wesson, but I like these for some reason.
@JMGeronimo, so many fine guns, so little money. Thanks for watching.
How do I get one?
I got on the wait-list at Oryx Arms. They sent me an email when it was in stock. Bought it from Oryx and had it at my FFL in a few days.
Pretty nice, pretty nice...................................you never know !!
This is my second Bul Armory pistol and that brand is rapidly becoming my favorite.
Nice
Thanks.

I paid $1,500 for mine, though they are hard to find. If you are looking for one, you might consider getting on Oryx Arms watch list.
