Kevin love, steph curry, russel westbrook, derrick rose, Michael Beasley, Mario Chalmers, Tyler Hansbrough, brook lopez, Wow! What a lineup of talent!
One of the greatest tournaments
2014 is my favorite
2008 Final Four only Final Four to feature all four #1seeds.
This tournament featured all #1 seeds.
2022 tar heels all the way we lost
@@brentjames2425, yep.
Anybody else just watching a bunch of “one shining moment” videos. This is video 8 for me today lol
ME!! I just posted this on another vid. I actually like the original version of the song better. Love Luther, RIP. But go back and listen to the original from the late 80s-early 90s. I just like it more.
I am too! I don't know if I have seen all of them but this 2008 year is one of my favorites. Seeing a young Steph Curry and then at the end when that mom is hugging her son after he and his team won the championship. Which year is your favorite ONE SHINING MOMENT video? I would also count the 1999 year when UCONN beat Duke and they show Coach K hugging and consoling that kid. A river of tears!😭
Just wanna let y’all know I still watch this multiple times a year. Rock chalk. This is our year!
Rock choke
@@davidlax5067 I’m a huge Kansas fan but this is pure facts
This is shaping up to be 100% true

Mario Chalmers hitting the game tying shot of a lifetime over Derrick Rose is gonna be a memory I’m gonna have forever. March Madness is statistically the hardest competitive tournament to win, and this was the first time a team I cheered for had ever won a championship.
Chalmers went on to get yelled at by LeBron. DeRose, the saddest "what if" story in nba
@@st4r444 Chalmers also went on to win 2 NBA Titles as Miami’s starting point guard.
This is better than the Super Bowl
History last time(2008), History this time (2022)..😊
Look at warriors tonight came back after 15 and 67 wow
Yep
What a talent heavy tourney, so many big future stars. One of the all timers for sure!
That basketball bounce at the beginning was smooth
@ 02:50 I'm in a heap of tears!😭
Will always remember watching the championship game in the basement with my brother, go Kansas!
Where did you watch last night?
Go heels good game we had a 15 pt lead
I remember going to San Antonio for this Final 4. All the 1 seeds made it and the atmosphere was electric. That Memphis team had the size of a NBA team that year, but that choke job they had in the last 2 mins lead to that KU comeback. No other sporting event has the passion that March Madness has. Seeing these moments brings back a lot of memories
Kansas also had the size of an NBA team in 2008. In fact Dorsey of Memphis said, “I knew we might be in trouble when I saw the size of the Kansas players.” FACTS.
Kansas actually led 33-28 at halftime against Memphis. Furthermore, that game was back and forth the entire 2nd half until Memphis made a run with about 5-6 minutes left to take a 9 point lead. Then Kansas stormed back in the final 2 minutes. It was close throughout however.
Normally this doesn't bring tears but for some reason I thought of my mom who I lost last june...crazy isn't it
Champion: Kansas Jayhawks (from Big 12)
Rock Chalk!
Who else misses College basketball
Yes nba aight my lakers home
As a Memphis fan this hurt but it was a great game and tournament
There will never be another final 4 as loaded as this one. Even if/when there's another all 1-seed final 4 it won't be nearly the same. Teams just dont have the same combination of depth, experience, and NBA talent anymore. 2007/08 Kansas was one of the best and most underrated teams of all time and the other 3 are some of the best teams ever to not win the championship. RCJH
Big 12: 3 national championship appearances in the last 14 titles, Kansas 3, Baylor 1, and Texas Tech was 15 seconds for getting theirs. Kansas won titles in 2008 and 2022, Baylor won theirs in 2021.
Big 12 will be the best conference and it already has been this decade...2020 was cancelled but two of teams of the top 4 were big 12 and then in 2021 Baylor a big 12 team won and then 2022 Kansas a big 12 team won.
Now the Kansas Jayhawks have another ncaa title!! Go KU!
ROCK CHALK
Yes they do.
Good Job tar heels nation congratulations kansas
Rock Chalk!
16th Final Four 2022!
Which year is your favorite ONE SHINING MOMENT video? This one is one of mine seeing a young Steph Curry and then at the end when that mom is hugging her son after he and his team won the championship. I would also count the 1999 year when UCONN beat Duke and they show Coach K hugging and consoling that kid. A river of tears!😭
This Kansas team was the best NCAA championship team ever considering this was the only time all four number one seeds reached the Final Four.
😂😂😂
@Happytarheel7 you still mad about that Final Four shellacking and that comeback in the 2022 Championship game? UNC basketball is Kansas basketball, as is Kentucky basketball. Dean Smith and Adolph Rupp are both from Kansas and played for Phog Allen, who played for James Naismith. It's okay, little buddy.
@@williamparks1503 6 ncaa championships- 4 ncaa championships lol Kansas fans thinking they matter is adorable
@@Happytarheel7 and we still have more all-time victories. You'll be alright, little buddy!
As much as I enjoyed this, the 1988 One shining moment was so much better put together and timed as was the singing of the song!
Only Final Four to feature all four #1seeds.
Rock Chalk
When steph curry made his way into the national stage
They keep showing Curry, haven't seen him in a while. What happened to him?
Curry plays for the Golden state warriors

RIP Billy Packer
Go Ku Jayhawks all the way to the top 1!
2008:Super Mario Chalmers dramatic shot for Kansas in title game and Stephen Curry nearly takes Davidson to Final Four.
Good year lol Curry, Westbrook
D Rose too
So would they have made this if Memphis won the tournament?
Nah cuz if Memphis would have won it would have gotten stripped
The One Shining Moment is made and released the same night as the championship game. Memphis wasn't stripped of their wins until the following year.
Can't take away what they did on the court
@@Antbeast23 sure can
curry, rose, westrbrook, lopez, love
*Chalmers

Will they respond because I am first
Not only that but Rose lost to Kansas, Kansas almost lost to Davidson, and UNC lost to Kansas plus several upsets
UNC got shallacked by KU! (Twice in same game.)
@Wilt Chamberlain is the GOAT tp3 fav KU win.
Was my fav for longtime. Been KU fan +30yrs
@Wilt Chamberlain is the GOAT Self FINALLY has a comfortable Elite8 win.
@Wilt Chamberlain is the GOAT Yeah I was concerned when UNC cut it to 4pts/11 mins left.
That UNC team? Arguably one best in NCAA Basketball history.
They won it all nxt yr!
Why it's one my fav KU wins. Our players showed such grit after blowing a 28pt lead. Most teams would've folded. I mean even if that UNC team was by far best in country fr 2007-09.
KU basketball history is easily it's richest last 35yrs. Most consistent. 10 FFs/5 National Title game apperances/2 National Titles since 1986.
Yeah I don't feel bad for Memphis even though the "mid majors" are my favorite lol they are cheaters
2008 Kansas > Memphis (OT)
Go cougs
