If they ever re-made Roman Holiday, this song could be the star of the soundtrack. I'm sure that if Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck could have seen this clip, they would love it. And I'm sure they would be happy to know what a lasting impression their performances had and will continue to have on people. It's amazing how many people I talk to that say they've never seen this movie. I myself didn't see it until 2014. Truly a gem.

Audrey what a beautiful woman
I learned that the place at the ending is the Palazzo Colonna and that it's a big tourist attraction partly because of this film. Even Margutta 51 where Joe Bradley lived is still there. I sure hope I'll be able to go on the Roman Holiday tour someday soon.

Their lives are just like the movie. They missed each other in the end. Gregory Peck has love Hepburn since this movie was made (1953) until Hepburn's death (1993). For 40 years, they both married different people. However, Gregory never changed his love on Hepburn. this truth is Hepburn never found her true love either since her 2 husbands never took advantage of her. It is a huge pity not seen this 2 get together. Pray for them to be together in haven.
+Lemonistar S. When Hepburn was married first time in 1954, Peck went to their wedding and gave her butterfly brooch as a gift. But no one knows that that butterfly brooch was Peck's heirloom. Heirloom means it can only be given to the true love of one's life. Peck didn't even give it to his wife before. When Hepburn passed away in 1993, peck took that Heirloom from a auction.
+Lemonistar S. When Roman Holiday came out in 1953, Peck and his first wife almost divorced. They lived apart from each other already. Peck just didn't not want Hepburn to get involved in that complicated situation. So he gave her up that year and introduced Ferrer to Hepburn. They married the year after. Peck lost his best chance. :(
+Lemonistar S. Yeah the guy you talked about was Robert Waltz (sorry if I spelled it wrong). But he was only with Hepburn for about 12 years. Peck has been next to her, helped her and loved her for 40 consecutive years! And in 1953 the affair between Hepburn and peck were very strong. Peck knew that there was no way for them to get married that quickly. So he pushed Hepburn to Mel Ferrer, one of peck's best friend and Hepburn's first husband. You know they were all celebrities like tom Cruise today. So affairs are very bad for them.
+Lemonistar S. Yeah right after roman holiday was released everyone thought they were secretly dating. Idk if they were really or its just affair, but everyone said so.
+Lemonistar S. Not many people knows this. I watched it on a TV program. Tbh idk if it is 100% true or no. But looks like it is based on their lives. The tv program is not from US.
