My girlfriend many years ago surprised me with a pet and I've always sworn never to do that to someone, having to find a good home for an animal I wasn't in a place to take care of then was super sad and stressful.

It really just entirely depends on the person, the situation, etc. The puppies from breeders obviously need homes too, as well as dogs at shelters, rescues, all that. So please don’t ever feel the need to justify buying a puppy from a breeder. They need homes too! 😇
