I have salvia hot lips but its in a wrong place. Its massive and takes too much space. I have seen your pruning video, thank you for that. Will prune it low to the ground. But when is a good time to move it ? I am in south UK :) thank you !

Hi Rosy, do you have any suggestions for part-sun, drought resistant, deer resistant plants for zone 6 US? I love tall and large plants that take up real estate as well. I have an area in my front garden that gets odd angles of sun because of the positioning of the house, and so many full sun plants lean and fall, reaching for the light. Woods to the west of our house block some of the late afternoon sun, but this area does get a decent amount of sun, it just typically comes from the east or from overhead. The soil can get very dry. I have a hard time finding plants that will successfully thrive here.

Hi Rosy, plese for next Q & A. I have a problem with sedum, I bought a sedum from a nursery that had bright, dry rough spots like scars, I thought it was fried from raindrops in the strong sun and that it was not a problem, so I planted it in my garden, where I have other types of sedum planted here and there. In the second and third year it switched to all sedums. I tried to find out what it is, but there are pictures on the net of only black spots on sedums caused by moisture, but that's not it. I tried moving one far away while it still looked healthy to test but it appeared again. The summer in Croatia was extremely dry and hot, so I believe it is not due to the humidity. They are in direct sunlight in dry soil. Is there any other sedum disease like this, it appears on the stem and leaves? Thank you.
