When I was married, I took a large amount of ground beef, 10 pounds to be specific, added some jerky flavoring, flattened it out of cookie sheets, partially baked it in the oven. Then I took it out, sliced it into jerky pieces, placed the cookie sheets back in the oven and left it finish drying out. Didn't have the fancy equipment you use, but it all got eaten.

I would cut jerky as you did then spice and leave in cooler,,,,,ref.... overnight then place on trays . put in smoker=== let it dry for an hour, smoke for half hour and cook till dries out and fast shower to stop cooking then let dry. let cool then put in large bag in ref,, package next day. if it is teriyaki jerky put some teriyaki sauce in a spray bottle and when jerky in the bag to spray to moisten a little ... gives good flavor and not tear your teeth out.

I carry one clipped onto my front jeans pocket also. They’re great knives for processing game. Only thing I do not like about the new pocket knifes is the clip that clips onto your pocket is now plastic but the ones that I bought several years ago are all metal clips. Curious! I never realized there are so many varieties of papershell pecans! What variety is being sold through you? I just received my first order of the pecans and they are very good!! Was impressed at how fast I received them!!! ❤

I enjoyed watching this video about jerky. I have never seen a jerky gun before and I was amazed at the roll’s that it made. The Jerky bundle looks good but so does yours. You can tell Houston likes the Jerky, which one did he like better?
I also had the pleasure of watch you speak at CameraMan Ron’s Celebration of Life Video. It was very moving and I know Sara and the boys appreciated it. For some reason the video cut off before the service was over so I didn’t get to see it end. Please let everyone know that I am keeping them in my prayers. Have a good week and May GOD Bless You and Your Family.
