Uniswap haves huge potential. It haves much more room to grow. If we are patient and most importantly accumulate and buy the dips the price will explode
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! 🧐 Just a small off-topic question: 😅 I found these words 😅. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). I’d be grateful for some help. 🙌
1. How do you get out of a pool if you no longer want to provide liquidity? 2. Ethereum smart contracts are sometimes more expensive than what you get in return (e.g. SNX Mintr)
Uniswap - rly, God of DeFi! But for some reason I like WOWswap better, I've been trading on this protocol for a year now. It has leverage, ability to short, and a large selection of blockchains and tokens to choose from, very cool interface, there are limit orders. It's not as big a dex as uniswap though 😶
I was using Kyber until the fees started taking the piss and being jacked up. Now Uniswap is out of beta and looking all slick, i'm more comfortable using it, and the selection of coinage on there is mouth watering lol. Thanks for covering this topic mate.
I like your videos a lot, subscribed. I want to know more about 1inch. Also, Metamask, and other wallets. There are some bad things posted about these. I want to use the DEX 'cos I can get more of the alt coins. Thank you for making these videos!
To complement the Uniswap is already running a great portifolio for Unizwan tokens. With the advantage of allowing only checked tokens. It's worth taking a look.
Great video on Uniswap and with your added words feel ready have a deeper look at it. You might consider have a look at and hopefully make a video on the Vigor Protocol. It is much to wrap your head around and I followed since 2019 the development by the VigorDAC (Decentralized Autonomous Community). On main net already being fine tuned by slowly increasing number of DAC members. Open to the public in coming few weeks.
So normally if you place a market buy order for an amount that is greater than offered, the price slips as you consume the volume up the order book. How does it work on this platform. I guess I'm asking how do you know to buy (swap) just enough volume to meet the offer price and not encounter slippage? This channel is superb btw (speaking as a newcomer to crypto).
I still dont necessarily know why uniswap is so useful or so grand, but im praying this video helps me out. I get that its an exchange but im not sure how it makes me money, if it does. Is this purely for liquidity?
Great Video Guy, but I am still not sure how Uniswap is a top DEX as opposed to CoinSwitch. Also, you didn't mention about the security aspect of leaving your crypto in the liquidity exchange pool. How safe and secure is it that I won't loose my crypto in the pool. Sorry, I am a total noob at this.
tbh not having order book is kinda bad because usually u can see the demand and stuff or where people are gonna start selling etc with an order book also the ui is simple but not trader friendly, there're lots of data they can show in one full-screen page, price graph, liquidity size, recent swaps etc. kinda annoying that u have to jump from page to page to see these. 1inch has a better ui but not enough. also how do u decide the price if there's no liquidity for a pair. since the price is based on the ratio and when i think about it order book trading sounds possible in DEX so i hope some pops up somewhere
Okay, so I'm looking at Uniswap, just trying something out. I put up 21 LINK (worth about $390 right now), which should be equal to around 332 AMPL. But on Uniswap, the best they can get me is 311 AMPL (worth around $369), which means I lose over $20 or 5% of my total just lost on this swap. So, other than the decentralized aspect (which I do love a lot, I love the idea of being able to exchange straight from my wallet), currently on Binance I can do a trade like that for a fee of 0.1%, and a withdrawal fee of a couple dollars at most. Although when I set up a swap for USDC for my LINK, it quotes me actually slightly higher than it's "market" value at the moment (unless it just bumped up). Anyway, is this just likely due to the differing prices between AMPL and LINK? Do some tokens just not trade well together or what am I missing? Don't get me wrong I woud love more than anything for DEX's to be the standard, but will they be able to compete with centralized exchanges on fees? I simply can't lose that much crypto for the novelty of a decentralized swap. Trust me I would love to only use DEX's it sounds nice to just do a swap and get the token in your wallet immediately, but that loss is too high. Am I just doing a swap wrong or something?
This is a fair point, the amount of tokens guaranteed is dependant on the market fluctuation between the time you purchase the coins and when they reach your wallet. This buffer zone is to stop a user from losing coins in transition time in case the coin drops massively during the point of purchase. A lot if ICO tokens can't be bought in other markets so you may need to use uniswap in those instances.
