Bro I have done digital marketing from upGrad and today I have done career counselling she told me that MBA is mandatory like no one will ask if you haven’t done MBA like I’m so confuse right now what should I do my age is 23 and I can’t waste my time for normal MBA or MBA in DM because it’s just a master’s degree why can’t I develop my skills in digital marketing only I’m interested in social media marketing, video creation and video editing, paid media what if I master in this skills, still I need MBA for that? If you have money then do MBA otherwise do digital marketing course offline through any reputable institution after checking feedback from recent pass out students. The institute from which I am going to do the dm course , they're providing 4 months of DM course and 2 months of internship, and after the course I am going to do external mba and while pursuing mba I will be doing the job in digital marketing for 2 years , so if I have 2 years of job experience in DM and mba degree then the college from where I am going to do mba , Will they give me a good placement?

So i have completed my digital marketing course it's been like 5-6 months..! i thought of doing mba in digital marketing what will you suggest me do i need to go for job or should i do mba in dm or like marketing in mba.? Go for mba if you are truly serious, otherwise do a DM program > work for 3-4 years > then go for an mba

The industry requires knowledge of digital marketing which is not taught either in BBA or MBA. So agar knowledge aur kaam aata hai toh BBA ke baad se growth shuru ho jaayegi, aur kaam nahi aata hai toh mba, phd, jo karna hai kar lo - nahi lagegi

What about IIDE? Is Diploma in Digital Marketing worth or the Certification, they're Charging 6 lakhs for 11 months PGDM in Digital Marketing.

I have nothing against IIDE and many of their students have also been placed at good companies, however, to my mind 6 lakhs for a digital marketing program (irrespective of it's packaging labelled as PGDM) is atrociously high. Remember the word - ATROCIOUS!
So, I don't think I will recommend any student to go and explicitly burn 6 lakhs worth of their savings and take a huge risk.
It's better to go for a cheaper program, hustle and get an internship, and find a job on your own. Rest is your choice.

I had completed MBA marketing from Sikkim Manipal University distance education, i have 5 years experience in media advertising segment. But I think I am not happy with this sales job, kindly suggest me best course for new sector job.
I think you should try Stoa/Maters Union if you can afford it. A normal digital marketing program is too risky if you have a lot of family responsibilities and cannot afford a pay cut (because you will have to go down if you are planning to switch)

In startups - No
For senior roles in MNC - non MBA grads have a hard time in getting roles like VP, Dept Heads, CMO, etc.
