I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (January 31), this passage from the Gospel of St. Luke, along with Acts 2:16-21 and Acts 21:8-9, were the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Prophesying Daughters." The beloved hymn, "Lord, Take My Hand and Lead Me," written by Julie von Hausmann (1825-1901), is a good hymn to compliment these Scriptures, regardless of denomination.
