Perfect timing - mine arrived last weekend and I hope to get some time with it this weekend. This was really helpful - I'd been warned/advised to look at pre- and post-gain positions, because it can make a real difference and I think your video shows that really well. Thanks!
Very good. I bought PS-6 and I was upset, because this pedal is not easy to understand - I only wanted somewhat a updated HR-2 but more quick in response for live playing. Very unsatisfied of it. You explained more and better than Boss tutorials.
Loved hearing the Trooper lick, I play the harmony parts of the trooper through the Boss Katana using the built in harmoniser, sounds awesome since the other guitarist in the band doesn’t play any lead. One question though, and I hope you or someone with knowledge can answer me, we also play hotel California but for the life of me I can’t work out the harmonies for the last solo, if I knew how to set each part I could set up a few different patches next to each other that I could use, I have the main Bm harmony for fills during the song and I think it works in a couple of measures of the outro but sounds bad on the others. Great vid. Greetings from New Zealand. Mike.
Hi Mike, it's correct that Hotel California is in Bm, the problem is that the intervals alter between 3rds and 4ths, which the PS6 can’t do by itself. Besides that, some notes like the B flat aren't in the scale of Bm, so the PS6 won't reproduce it. So I think it's impossible, unfortunately.
hello, I am trying to play the middle part of to live is to die from metallica, the harmoni part, but I cant get to the right tone, would you pleqase help me
Hi, that section harmonises in 3rds and 4ths. Since the PS6 can't switch between those by itself, you have to get either a second PS6 or use a harmoniser that can switch intervals via a footswitch or something. I've also made a video with Metallica riffs for two PS6s, showcasing To Live Is To Die along with 9 others. Feel free to check it out!
Very noble of you to make a video like this.

You are doing God's work bro! Love your content!
Best video about this pedal!!!
When using it with an exp pedal it adds a very sharp eq being placed after after gain. The effect is more noticeable when having mix around 12 and 2.
