I have an X1. It’s a great car. Super fuel efficient. Small enough for a city, easy to park, tons of space. It’s kinda sporty too. It doesn’t have a lot of character, but I’d certainly recommend one to someone.

To be completely honest, most people won’t care so it would be a waste for me to mention it specifically. It looks & feels like leather so it’s easier to just say leather. However, if you’re big on not using leather then, for your piece of mind, no, it’s not real leather.
look into their other suvs, all bmw suvs are honestly class leading (especially the x5 and x7) and shockingly good value along with their sports cars and sedans

@@07Lightless when did i ever say a turbocharged v12 is reliable? i put 80k km on my x5 and the guy i sold it to put another 55k on it, last time i saw the car it was at 135k km with no issues. my g05 is nearly at 75k, i bought it when it had 20k on it and will be selling it soon. got my g30 when it had 10k km and sold it at 60k which is admittedly very low milage.

It's pretty obvious that when you buy a BMW you're going to spend another 5k in maintenance over the years. Or you can put that 5k in paying the Lexus premium for a more boring car. Example: IS300 for 40k (likely higher because low supply) or BMW 230i for 38k. One is a boring car, one is a driver's car. Maybe buy some public transportation passes if driving isn't your thing.
I used to own a 2011 x1, it was a fantastic machine. Even being an SUV, it used have a 'pure driving pleasure!' It's just that it is very expensive to maintain here in India, so I sold it.
