This reminds me of the old school rockabilly/rock n roll stuff my father always listens to

I love the album version but honestly the more I listen to it, the more I fall in love with it even tho I don't really like their non-rock sound...that might just be the American in me tho lol
Not a bad version. But I still wish they stuck to the album version more.

best live version of " for the girl" !
Edgy in Brixton was the best version i think
Mr. Wave In my opinion it's this. Jon sings it so well. Edgy was great in it's own way. You can't compare acoustic with plugged :)
Very True
AOL without a doubt imo, but the record version was perfect
Really good set. Bit slower than they used to be but they sound professional and tight. I kind of like their new more country sound but I prefer when they were more indie rock.
My lovely 😍
They added a country swing to it! Sweet!
this sounds different than it does regularly
La la la la la la
Well she said I know but I just can't tell
Everything you've just been saying
Lucy was there as well in the dark
When the kids in the band were playing
No-one can hear a word I tell
What the girl was singing
See she must have been 16 or 18
I'm just past caring
She was into the Stones when
I was into the Roses
She was breaking my bones when
I was bursting their noses
She would tell me a secret
I would lose it the next day
You're not pleased that you're easy
Makes you sick in a bad way
And all the while the girls sang
La la la la and she sang
Kickings for my sweetheart
Bruises that I just don't miss
And she said "I can't love you anymore than this!"
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
Aw she said she said oh no no no no
Let me…
Why have the Fratellis become a country-blues band?
+JonCJGFan - Full Seasons This is blues rock, not country. Country has just become a confused mess of a genre that lost track of its own sound.
God Monkey Abu Definitely a country riff, brother. But they've always been country, it was just hidden under the production. Tracks like Nina and Vince are definitely country at heart. Even Tell Me A Lie or whatever has a country groove.
