Is it me or the Harrison drum fills really break the flow of the song? As a drummer I always loved the space between each hit of this song. Kinda loses that here.
Both are amazing, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you. The drums are definitely better in this version but the guitar beginning at 6:30 of the original song is unbeatable. That is one of the most intense, psychedelic sequences I've ever heard. This is a great version but it would've been better if it had stayed more faithful to the original. Of course, the last 2 minutes of the original are pretty much irrelevant, so that doesn't count. If they had made this an 8-minute version, it would be the best one!
