Great comparison review Blake. Can't wait to see your content on the new 500. I finally have my wife convinced it's time for her to give up her Sportsman 450 for something with power steering. And she is now ready to concede. Whoever thought there would come a time....where people were trading in their Polaris's and Can Ams for cfmotos...but it's happening everywhere here in Michigan. Gone are the excuses that we are doing it solely for the price point. It's now safe to say cfmoto makes a better quad than Polaris especially. And I know there will be contestants of this statement and I respect that...but until you've owned every brand as myself and many others I know have that are now making the switch. Seeing is believing. Keep up the great content.

The front-end of the new one is not protected very well.old is better protected. The molded plastics fade fast in sun. Painted plastics are better .I think the old one with performance upgrades would be better than new. Just my opinion. 😅

I much prefer the metal rack on the older model. Feel like there is more options to strap stuff to it, and have a small stopper in the middle. I definitely didn't like the 500 plastic cover to hid the metal frame under it. I should get my 400 2023 monday morning, so we will see how I like it.

The G2 engine actually heats up a lot more than the G1. On my G2 CFORCE 500, the fan won’t turn on until the engine heat pegs at 4 out of 5 bars on the temperature gauge. These engines on the G2 models aren’t going to last very long like that.
