my understanding with the housekeeping is the resorts aren't paying enough for people to want to do such a demanding job. Despite the major resorts posting record profits and skyrocketing room rates since the pandemic. its just that the executives only care about the bottom line so they refuse to pay the people doing the actual work a fair wage while giving themselves massive bonuses. I don't blame the floor level staff at the properties or even their managers as they are doing the best they can with what they are given but have serious issues with the greedy executives.
I have stayed in NYNY a few times in my early trips. Your room is an improvement from what I stayed in. One of the reason I had not gone back. But I enjoy Park MGM, so between the two, it's The Park for me. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Stayed in this room last year. The tub is a game changer. LOVED my time in this room. People complain about the coaster out the window but it never bothered me once.
I have stayed in a few rooms with the soaking tub in the main room as well and they were nice to relax in but left the room muggy and damp feeling. but yes the hot soaking tub is nice. my favorite is the one in the 1 bedroom terrace suite at the Cosmo as once you are done in the bath you can go sit on the balcony as well as leave the balcony door open to keep the room from getting muggy.
Don't know what's going on with Vegas housekeeping lately. On my April trip, housekeeping didn't show up one day at Excalibur and same thing a few days later at El Cortez. Excalibur waved a couple days Resort fees when I brought it up at checkout. El Cortez wouldn't wave the fee, which I'm quite annoyed about.
During my first and last visit to NY NY in Aug 2021, because of lack of housekeeping and possibly not changing sheets, I was infected with small microscopic bugs that took me over a year and many treatments to resolve. Would not stay there again and am weary every time I stay in a hotel.
Agree Matt. We stayed in a 'Stay Well, Double Queen" overlooking the pool and High Roller (similar aspect to you) and were super impressed with room and fit-out of the block. We were there in April and had housekeeping every day. Would definitely stay again. We also travelled with our kids (sorry to disappoint you 🙂) and it was a great base for us as a family, and catering options suited all our tastes. Loved this series as always. Don't forget 'Bridger Down Under'!! - I'm here to help you plan it if you need me 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘 🌏 Glad you got home safe & sound!
Great room tour
I stayed in a Spa Suite back in 2008. Overall, one of my favorite properties.
Love the room … thanks for showing 🥂🇨🇦
Why do we pay resort fees 🤔

Fab room - looks amazing! Just a pity about the whole housekeeping debacle! 😅
NICE ROOM THANKS
Great room.
Staying at NYNY in December! Comp room but gonna try and upgrade to something like this if possible as it looks awesome.

Hi Matt,
Can you explain how it works with resort credit? Do you use M-Life with my Vegas?
Staying in this room in 30 days. Thanks for the review for me!
I'm checking into a spa suite tonight!
