    I’ve got a couple good ETFs in my portfolio and I’m up 47%. I’m also well positioned with good blue chip companies and A.I stocks. I will buy $200K worth of Plantir soon. Some experts say it's the next Nvidia. Hoping to retire comfortably in 5 years with at least $ 2m.

      Buy and wait for 5 years let's see how it plays out. The question is, would I sell any of my Nvidia shares to buy Palantir? No I would not

      I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, good cash flow and strong balance sheets such as AAPL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays. Seeking expertise assistance can make a huge difference

      Agreed, instead of following rumors or a hearsay, I adopted the service of an advisor early 2020 amid covid-outbreak, and after subsequent investments to date, I've attained my most significant financial milestone, just about 10% shy of $1m.

      @@mette-lo that's some strong performance! I’d say your advisor is doing a great job with your portfolio, mind if I look this person up? i'm in dire need of proper asset allocation

      Katherine Nance Dietz is the licensed advisor I use. Just google the name. You’d find necessary deets. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.

    Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 and first half of this year with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

    • @jeanlaudato
      @jeanlaudato 3 месяца назад

      Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder.

      The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. My friend just pulled in more than $84k last month alone from his investment with his advisor. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market.

    I'm currently holding SPYI, QQQI (both recently) and JEPI, JEPQ (since JEPQ was introduced). The NEOS funds are much better for a taxable account (at least so far, and in theory should remain so) and seem to be doing better than the JPM funds. I'm considering switching over, but right now it doesn't seem compelling.
    I'm also keeping an eye on the new NEOS fund, IWMI (based on Russell 2000 small caps).

      @@WoodUCreate Have you even look at the chart comparison on Seeking Alpha on these covered call etfs? Since inception of 12/30/2023 with Total Return ISPY +16.13, GPIX +15.85, SPYI +14.27, and JEPI +10.04. ISPY might not give the biggest distribution yield but it does the best job of tracking the SPY the closest.

      Fr! Isn’t it ordinary income? I have another etf with high yield but it’s also ordinary income and will put me in 24% tax bracket. But I’m a tad wary about Neos etfs since they used to manage NUSi and I had to hold on to that until I made my money back which was about 1.5 years. But the promise of tax efficiency is indeed compelling.
