      Staying with the ball! I always get nervous and back off which makes the ball fly even more.

      The early preparation and the follow through with the back foot/leg. I know I just said 2 things instead of one lol! you are an incredible coach!!! I hope I can share how much difference your videos have made in my playing abilities. I tape 90% of my practices and games with my friends who said that I am progressing at a faster rate. I just started playing Tennis about 1.5 month ago and they hated me because I mess up so much, but now, I am putting up decent fights even if I lose BIG time 🤣

    Despite the coaching, she hit the ball the same way without making any changes. Didn’t set up early as coach emphasized. But her serve was very natural and potent.

      she needs to play with players who hit faster and deeper, her habits are from playing players that just put balls back in the court with nothing on it; but that will come with time as she gets older and play against stronger players

    Question. When you say 'accelerate the hand,' does it mean I should actively speed up my hand movement, or does it mean the hand will naturally accelerate by itself if I keep my wrist loose?

    • @Edouard7800

  • @user-up3yi4mu6p
    @user-up3yi4mu6p 2 месяца назад +1

    She hits her forehands with a ball that stays very close to the body (very visible at normal speed, but even more so in slowmotion), which made her play with a very bent arm.
    In my opinion, there is a problem with focusing the distance to the ball.
    With an arm so tight to the body, it is very difficult to play in power.
    What do you think?

    • @paulmoon9380
      @paulmoon9380 Месяц назад +1

      That is not my impression... for me distance between body and the ball at the contact is good. But I would say that sometimes her upper body is too much backward, example at [16:26]

    Patrick is a diehard high ball topspin kind of guy, if you take a guy like rublev and tell him to spin that high there's no chance he will stay with you as a coach.
    Some coaches like slicing, some high spin, if you feel uncomfortable with the playstyle your coach is trying to instill in you, don't force it.

    • @callummurphy4671
      @callummurphy4671 2 месяца назад

      Yeah I think on hard or grass you have to hit flatter, with how hard everyone hits the ball now if you hit too loopy with too much spin you'll just get run around the court

    She has an 'extra loop' thingy in the backswing. And still i wish *i* could hit the sweet spot as consistently as she does.

  • @felixb.3455
    @felixb.3455 2 месяца назад

    Yes her backswing is too bouncy. The racket is moving a lot. To stabilize that part I would like to see her holding her racket with both hands while coiling. That would be amazing. Great talent. And great teacher as well. 😊

    she's a very good player but it seems like she still does a take back and then another move back. It looks like a hitch. But amazing control. I don't think Patrick would have trusted her otherwise to stand in the middle of the box and tell her to hit the ball over his head!
