Add a E38 Hood scope with some holes in the bonnet for fresh air to the carbs . Bonnet pins would be a good safety option . Index your plugs for more bang 💥. Mopar old school for life 👌🇦🇺✌️.

Yeah I actually totally agree with you. I have those exact wheels up in the garage what you’re going on next. These wheels were truly only need to get down to the dragstrip and do a good run. They’re okay but like you I prefer the old. Yeow 🇦🇺

Went there way back in 1977 with a friend (Martin) on his Kawasaki 350 triple. He did about 17+ quater mile. Then we rode home. Fun.

Bonnet lifting up is the body flexing under load, I had the same problem with my E38 many years ago cured with bonnet pins.
