THEORY~lol it's kinda long Hyungwon created the time traveling watches and gives them to people who need them. He also may be the ‘time traveler that skipped town’(that was a newspaper article). And then we have three different storylines of people who Hyungwon gave the watches too. And the mv is super confusing because you see all the different storylines together. I guess I’ll start with Minhyuk and I.M. Minhyuk is the year 2017 and works at a coffee cafe place called Traveler(not sure of of the connection, there might not be one). Hyungwon leaves a watch on the table and Minhyuk picks it up. He goes back in time to 2015. There he ends up in an alleyway and men in dark suits are walking towards them. The men are a part of the government that controls everyone and they don’t allow the time traveling(you see this warning later in Wonho’s room). Minhyuk doesn’t know who the men are but I.M. does and he runs up and grabs Minhyuk and they run away. There’s a childhood flashback and I think Minhyuk and I.M. were childhood friends, but somehow Minhyuk moved on into the future and I.M. stayed stuck in the past. I.M. doesn’t have a watch which is why he can’t get back to Minhyuk’s time(I just thought of something what if I.M. was one of Hyungwon’s experiments but it didn’t work and that’s why he stayed growing up in the past while Minhyuk moved up the years). Minhyuk tries to get I.M. to come back to his time with him by holding his hand when he turns the watch but it doesn’t work(and the guys shot him). Minhyuk ends back up in 2017 without I.M. and his watch is broken from the gunshot so he can’t go back. Wonho and Shownu. Wonho is from year 2047. Somehow he met Shownu and he time travels carefully back to train and spend time with him. He can’t stay for long because I think the government is much stricter in the future and have their eyes on anyone suspicious. Shownu knows this and just enjoys the little time he has with Wonho. He does not have a watch either, so he can’t go to future(I think his time period is too old for Hyungwon or maybe Hyungwon doesn’t know about him). Wonho gets captured by the government and they take his watch. Shownu waits for him to come, but he doesn’t. :(:(:( Kihyun and Jooheon. They were besties and one day Jooheon dropped Kihyun off. But he got into a car crash and died shortly after. Kihyun continued living into the future and is trying to figure out how to go back to the past(2015) and save Jooheon’s life. One day, Hyungwon drops off a watch for him. Kihyun tries it once but he’s too confused to try and save Jooheon. He does it again and is chasing after the car, still too late. The third try he sees Hyungwon also there and recognizes him from the day he dropped off the watch. The car crashes and Hyungwon turns back the time for Kihyun since he knows how it works and stuff. Kihyun saves Jooheon but in return dies in the car crash instead of Jooheon. Jooheon is now where Kihyun was in the beginning of the video, trying to figure out how to save Kihyun. The rain which Hyungwon stands in is falling downwards and then is goes back up when they’re all time traveling. But after the end of everyone’s stories, the rain is falling back down again. I think this symbolizes that you can’t change the past. In the end, Minhyuk is in his time without I.M., Wonho is captured in his time without Shownu, and Jooheon is without Kihyun(even though this is different, one of them still died). Hyungwon still has to figure out how to create a watch powerful enough to actually change the past.
