I’m Nick Bearman and deliver GIS training sessions and GIS consultancy for a variety of clients, primarily focused in the academic and not for profit sectors. I help people make use of GIS to answer their research questions, and get more answers from the data they already have. I am a passionate supporter of Open Source software and am Chair of OSGeo:UK, the UK Local Chapter of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation.
This will be an overview of OSGeo:UK’s GoFundGeo project, where every year we award money to a range of UK related OSGeo projects. This year we have a budget of £6,000 and will be making the decision about which projects we support at our AGM on Mon 18th November.
