Yeah, that's something that Voiceplay is really good at. Even in their worst songs, they always really "slap" as I believe the term is now. Their bass and drums are amazing, Earl on those high notes is a real treat, and J None and Eli have a serious amount of soul to their voices, especially since they're both baritones and they're in the higher end of their registers. This is one of my favorite covers of this song, and definitely my favorite a capella one.
Geoff did something that I don't remember him, or any other bass doing. Usually the bass just sings dum, dum, dum, etc. But Geoff was singing badum, dum, dum, more like a bass player hitting 2 strings instead if one string. It sounded unique. ... Guy

Geoff refers to himself as a baritone with a base range but in all honesty he has an amazing range on both ends of the scale, something like 5 octaves if I remember correctly while the averagepersononly has like 2, and really I have seen a few fans refer to him as a human piano, something I whole heartedly agree with
