I am absolutely loving this new series. It all seems so doable for a person who is not terribly artistic. I wish there were something like this for children between first and fourth grade. I keep looking! They are very literal art-wise at this stage, and they don’t understand the nuance of a lot of the art that I am interested in. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hello… so many collage paper fodder ideas in this video - love them… love the freedom they invite. Love the colors in your finished piece. Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration! Have a great day! 🙂
49Dragonflies just mentioned in her latest video the importance of liking and commenting on videos and how those actions influence and activate algorithms which bring the work of you tube channels visible on the notifications page. I find new artists there all the time. I heard at least three words. So writing ‘hi’ is probably not enough. You inspire me and I look forward to each video you post. 😻
I really love this one. You show us so many different techniques and it’s all our own work. Not taking anything that’s already done, but kinda making our own collage and background. Absolutely love!! ❤😊
So grateful to have found your channel 🤗. I'm learning so many new techniques through this series, it is really unlocking a lot for me artistically speaking.
Hi Shana! I like that you showed the mark making process. It's been difficult for me to understand the value of mark making, and I couldn't really connect with it. But for some reason seeing your process today makes me appreciate it more. Also, I had no idea that the correction pen would resist to paint, that's pretty awesome! Your page turned out great! Thanks!
All of your techniques are fun and look so easy! That correction pen is a super idea! I have some posca and other white inks I’m going to try that with.
I'm loving Arty August. I am 1 page behind the perfect spot to be in. This is my favorite page so far also. I hate purple, but I can mak we an exception 😂 Hugs as always Kate PS: I hope there is a crash the stash Scrappy September challenge❣️
@ShanoukiArt perhaps only utilizung our scraps of paper and fabric to make a more tactile journal piece. Creating cluster style focal points from them to add to backgrounds in the future. I mean, how many boxes of precut, colored in images, waiting to be used, does a person need in life 🤣 You are so good at the composition of focal points from scrap. Just a thought ❣️ Kate
You keep meaning to ask you where you get your sheets of little sentiment stickers… We’ve probably answer that question but I seem to have missed the answer. ❤Thank you!
Every page you have done is wonderful. I have never thought of making repeated marks on a page to tear and use as part of background to a page. It looks freeing and fun to do. I will have to make up some in the colors I use the most to have on hand. Can I use this idea to teach at my library’s Junk Journal program?
I always watch your videos at least twice. First I watch just to see if I’m going to like it and then of course I do , so then I watch it to follow along and try my hand at what you’re showing us. I am loving this series!
Love the homemade tips. Used watered down black paint in a fine liner bottle for the first time.
Yes! Homemade & old book pages!
