The one thing that drew me into BTS before I knew much about them was their amazing emotionally powered performances. They express the lyrics not only in words but through their eyes, facial expressions and body language. When they perform their songs on stage it's as if they give the lyrics and message lifea nd soul which flows through their bodies and voices and delivers it so accurately and beautifully to the crowd. That is why even before understanding what they are saying, you can feel it and it resonates deep in your soul. That is the caliber of a true artist which is very rare to find. They are so raw and passionate in expressing their songs that it stuns me every time. When I listened to Your eyes Tell for the first time without the lyrics/meaning I cried so much because I could feel the song through their performance. The same with the Truth Untold. They truly are one of a kind.

I can’t honestly see them as not being superstars back then even though for a few years they’ve now reached real heights honestly the top. When I first got into them and they were just a great group, I’ve always taught their gonna be something big one day bcuz something about them was so unique and special for me and the members love for their fans and their music and their messages was just everything to me. I’ve had hard days just fighting with my mind on certain aspects in my life and just having BTS in my life completely turned me around and I can’t thank them enough. Yoongi's songs are always my favorite, even before I know he wrote them. Some notable ones that he has cowritten AND coproduced: Dead Leaves, Tomorrow, Jump, Let Me Know, Path, Her, Sea, Ddaeng, and Respect. I found notations that although Hitman Bang "participated" in it, he doesn't take credit for it (more like advisor, am guessing). There's a Japanese version that has additional Songwriters UTA & Hiro in the credits alongside Suga, PDogg, RM and J-Hope. i listened to this song for the first time in a while thanks to you guys and I remembered how addictive and beautiful this song is. Especially Jks and Jins part where they sing really fast in that melody, its my favorite thing as of now and it hasnt left my head, so I learned how to say it in Korean. Im definitely not a language person, but it feels SO hecking good and satisfying when I get it right and sing with them and I KNOW what Im saying lol.
I remember watching this showcase through live streaming and crying with pride the whole time. I believe this was their comeback showcase for Dark & Wild. Yoongi wrote and produced this song while the rapline wrote each of their deep lyrics. At one interview, Jimin told the story of how he asked the producer "how high should I go?" and they said "knock yourself out" so he just went with it. This song is legendary. the heartbreak they portrayed in the music and the lyrics were just real. Still a fave of mine after years later.
I listen to this song over & over, it's hypnotic. Each time I find more depth in lyrics & music with amazing balance of passion but apparent effortless. A tour d'force from Suga & I can only imagine the joy he must feel to have his brothers present it so masterfully. 💜

I remember watching this showcase through live streaming and crying with pride the whole time. I believe this was their comeback showcase for Dark & Wild. Yoongi wrote and produced this song while the rapline wrote each of their deep lyrics. At one interview, Jimin told the story of how he asked the producer "how high should I go?" and they said "knock yourself out" so he just went with it. This song is legendary. the heartbreak they portrayed in the music and the lyrics were just real. Still a fave of mine after years later.
I listen to this song over & over, it's hypnotic. Each time I find more depth in lyrics & music with amazing balance of passion but apparent effortless. A tour d'force from Suga & I can only imagine the joy he must feel to have his brothers present it so masterfully. 💜

This is my favorite BTS song of all time and I actually became a fan in this era. I have a soft spot for this song it’s the reason why I Stanned BTS so hard and it’s not even a title track....the power I tell ya.

Yes, to perform this song thru their tired selves is perfection. They truly opened their hearts to be able to share this song's true power of grieving a lost cause love. BTS, young as they were then, had a marvelous and clear understanding of how the world worked. And they still do, hence the continuation of great and meaningful songs. They are one-of-a-kind! I agree with Tae, the universe chose them to be together and in heeding the call, we are now being blessed.
