Yes you were right, Philippines is a Christian country that's why christianity concept must normally be added. However, this is your reaction video so you can freely say your preference. But this CSID was done specifically for Filipinos or FILIPINOS BY HEART. If you find it unnecessary, just remember the culture of people you are reacting to. Just to inform you, we viewers love their CSID not just because of their talented artists, but because they never failed to execute christianity in the whole concept.
Also instrument that makes it sound "more Christmasy" is normal because it is a CSID. and in order to feel Christmas we need to hear the sound of bells, chimes etc. and it's normal for Filipinos to listen, though its not a bad suggestion to not use those instrument or to give it a different take. And one thing also, I don't think Angeline is still underrated because she's one of the in demand artists.
