    After attempting to build a 3 leg Strandbeest Bike that failed I made a 6 leg version. A key feature in this one is the riding lawnmower differential that allows each set of 3 legs to spin at different speeds to allow for sharp turns.
    Built with a lot of the tools available for members of the Dallas Makerspace

    If the linkages were arranged in a line on the Z axis rather than parallel on the X axis, the machine would be well suited to rails. Theo Jansen's linkage seems to work best on flat surfaces, straight line. But wheels require hard, flat, perfect rails, this machine would work on concrete, wood, aluminum rails, whatever was available
