- The Lallantop team, during its Gujarat election coverage, reached Vadodara and had the privilege to meet and interact with the Maharani of Vadodara Radhikaraje Gaekwad at the prestigious Lakshmi Vilas Palace. One of the most impressive Raj-era palace in Gujarat, the palace has beautiful mosaics, chandeliers and artworks, as well as a highly impressive collection of weaponry and art. Paintings by the famous artist, Raja Ravi Verma who was specially commissioned by the then Maharaja of Baroda, adorn the palace. Radhikaraje Gaekwad took Saurabh Dwivedi on a tour of the royal palace of the Gaekwads, and narrated stories from history of the palace, the Gaekwad family, important personalities who have visited the palace, and much more. Came here after watching Ranveer podcast and what a contrast saurabh is a crash interviewer so full of himself and disrespectful and the ranveer was so articulate, respectful and indepth in his podcast…came to learn about such a humble, elegant n sophisticated queen of baroda who is epitome of intellect n beauty. Enjoyed the podcast of ranveer much more than this over confident but dazed common man who needs to know respect and dignity cannot be bought but garnered…wish the queen very best in her endeavors n may she remain so eloquent and grounded….the interview with ranveer was more interesting and respectfully done than this crass vlog.

I dont kne why this man cant stay calm n let the guest speak up ... after watching few of his podcasts i have noticed that he interrupt n the speaker looses the flow. Having questions dosnt mean that he will not wait for complete answer... His team kindly convey him to be patient.
There was so much he could have shared by just letting her speak & not starting his own monologues trying to show people his self proclaimed knowledge, all while being unprofessional & unruly

Surely the wrong guy as an interviewer. Saurab ji , She is not your friend , she is the Maharani of Baroda. I continued watching this video because i have high regards for her and the entire Royal dynasty , this majestic palace and their contributions for India as a whole, but hated when this man kept interrupting while her highness was talking. See, this is the reason why commoners are rarely allowed to be in their presence and in the palace , its really shameful that they dont even make efforts to prepare themselves before having such interviews. And this stupid thing lallantop , i mean, not surprising at all. I wish they never allowed them in , and these priceless details were documented by some other dignified medium.
